The three most common symptoms of TMD sufferers are:
Pain in the jaw joint or in the muscles that move the jaw
Sounds like clicking in the jaw joint
Jaw movement restriction, which includes difficulties opening your mouth, locking, or chewing.
Other symptoms may include a headache, earache, tinnitus (or ringing in the ears), swelling in the jaw joint or other regions of the face, numbness in the cheek area, trouble sleeping or focusing, and difficulty sleeping or concentrating.
