Have you recently qualified as an art therapist, or perhaps you are looking to expand your skills/experience with a different client group? We are looking for a 2026 volunteer art therapist to work alongside our art therapist, who has been running a long-term art therapy group for people with brain injury. It (usually) takes place the first (or second) Sunday of the month. From 10.30-1pm including debrief and reflection time. Please email hephzi@arttherapycentre with your cv.

Charcoal is soft, quietening and calming. It is a gentle medium, which can be used for self-soothing, self-regulation and recalibration. It is a forgiving substance, which can be easily worked and erased and allows us to explore the realms of tone and nuance.
