Next week is ***dePreventionDay

Su***de rates in England have risen by 7.6% since 2022, making it more important than ever to raise awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding su***de.

We can work to prevent su***de by taking steps to support those who are struggling.

Starting conversations with compassion and encouraging people to seek professional help, are just some of the ways we can start to make a difference.

To stay safe this summer, & reduce your risk of an overdose, please take extra precautions when using any type of drug 💊

It’s safe practice to assume that any drug you take could be something else. For more advice, see here: https://tinyurl.com/4rxb945k

Drug-related deaths in the UK are currently at a record high 📈

If you plan on taking drugs this summer, be cautious. Drugs are often mis-sold and can be mixed with other harmful substances without your knowledge – what you buy is not always what you are told it is.

If you're offered Nitrous Oxide "nos", "balloons", "whippits" or "laughing gas" this summer, make sure you understand the risks and effects before trying it.
