Honesty post it can be easy to let things slip.......

After my heart issue I stopped doing weights well like I used to anyway.

I've been doing a 12 week program of weight training and these are the results so far.

I've lost a lot of fat, I must admit with the changes in my life over the past 8 months, I did let things go a bit anxiety and stress really can have an effect on your motivation and it really did suck any motivation out of me, One day I actually lifted the 2kg weights put them down and walked out of the gym "just couldn't be botherd this is my way of moving on”

You just have to be honest with yourself.

Keeping yourself fit is one thing but maintaining a reasonable physique is another.

It's not easy

But i'm big and strong enough to admit life got in the way, but happy I've pulled myself back, in another 6 months the 6 pack should be ready for my first hot holiday in over 4 years 🙂

The first 3 months I've focused on getting stronger, although I was doing boxing, cardio & weight training it was not structured enough.

I'm going to progress my weight training in 12 week Macro cycles, my next is going to focus a bit more on strength, power and shaping hitting specific body parts.

so if you feel you have no motivation start slow and before you know it you'll be back in the game..,

But, what about 3 things you DONT need to do?

1️⃣ You don't need to have it sorted from day 1. Everyone is different. It's all about trial and error! Find what works for you ✅

2️⃣ You definitely don't need to cut food groups. Its restrictive, unsustainable and not necessary

3️⃣ You don't always need to lose weight! Life is stressful, allow yourself some slack. Go off track? The most important thing you can do is stop worrying about it, and get back on

If you miss an event or trip because you're worried about going over on your calories or missing a workout, you will regret it 😅

Here's what does matter: CONSISTENCY

Be consistent with your exercise, sleep & nutrition 80% of the time and you're sure to improve your mind, body & health

Yes that's right. 80% of the time

That's 24 out of 30 days every single month

So sure, miss that day, overeat another, what matters is that you get back on that wagon! 🚗"
