As National Apprenticeship Week comes to a close, hear from Niall Talbot, one of our Chef Apprentices. ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ

โ€œMy name is Niall Talbot, and Iโ€™m currently completing a Chef Apprenticeship at Greensleeves Care Home, which runs over 18 months.

After not quite getting the GCSE results I hoped for, my dad encouraged me to do an apprenticeship. Choosing to become a chef has been one of the best decisions Iโ€™ve made.

The experience has been incredibly rewarding, and Iโ€™m grateful to my team for constantly pushing me to do my best while supporting me every step of the way.

Iโ€™ve learned so much already, not just about cooking, but about teamwork, dedication, and confidence. Iโ€™m excited to keep growing and see where this journey takes me!โ€ โ€“ Niall
