What to do when faced with an uncertain diagnosis?
This is an exam testing you on how you manage risk.
You do not need a diagnosis to manage risk and you will ALWAYS be tested on this skill in the SCA.
An acute red painful eye causing visual disturbance - does it matter what the diagnosis is? Whether it is an acute glaucoma or anterior uveitis - it requires risk escalation today to eye casualty. The diagnosis is superfluous in this regard.
