Today, we remember the very sweet and powerful soul known as Mama and celebrate Mama’s Day, taking inspiration & power from remembering her life.

Originally known as Radha, Mama started her spiritual life at the age of 16. She became known as Mama even though she was young, because she was spiritually mature and she took the responsibility of looking after all those in the early spiritual community.

She had a powerful spiritual and introverted personality and was able to understand spiritual aspects very deeply.
Her sparkling eyes exuded power and virtue along with her sweet and pure personality. She had a smile that melted hearts, and whomever came to meet her felt as though they were meeting their own mother.

Her speciality was to empower all souls through her positive qualities. Mama was the first Administrative Head of the Brahma Kumaris.

She passed away peacefully on June 24th 1965, at the age of 46, having served tirelessly all over India and having made a very deep impact on the lives of all who met her and also all of us who have heard about her life.
