A major step forward in the fight against Alzheimer’s 🧠✨

Scientists have developed a simple blood test that can detect Alzheimer’s years before symptoms appear potentially transforming how the disease is diagnosed and treated.

🧠 Dementia affects nearly one million people in the UK but many still face barriers to diagnosis and care.

Now, Alzheimer's Society is investing £2 million to change that. The new GRACE project will focus on improving access to quality dementia support in communities most impacted by health inequalities, bringing together researchers, carers, and policymakers to create long-term change.

Yesterday the team joined the Alzheimer's Society Annual Conference 2025 in London. The event brought together professionals, carers, and people with lived experience to discuss how we can tackle inequalities in dementia care.
