"I'm so incredibly grateful to Dr Lai for the exceptional care I received throughout my pregnancy and delivery. From the outset, he was compassionate and deeply reassuring. When it came time to deliver my baby, Dr Lai handled everything with such calm confidence and skill that I knew I was in the best hands! I can't thank him enough for helping bring my little one into the world – and keeping me safe and sound in the process!"

We’re celebrating World Breastfeeding Week – a global movement recognising breastfeeding as a powerful start to lifelong health and development. 💛

To mark the occasion, one of our lactation consultants Indy has lovingly prepared gift bags for parents welcoming their babies at the Lindo Wing this week. Each bag includes specialised muslin cloths, breastfeeding pads, and soothing tea to support the feeding journey.

Indy also offers one-to-one consultations and workshops before and after birth – which are open to all to attend, not only those registered with the Lindo Wing.

We aim to provide every parent with the care, information and encouragement they need to breastfeed for as long as they choose. 🤱

“Rachel, you were honestly the best midwife I’ve ever had (and that’s saying something… this was baby number four!) I came into this birth with a fair bit of apprehension, it was my first in the UK after three in France, and I wasn’t sure what to expect… but from the moment you arrived, I felt completely at ease.

“You were just amazing, calm and reassuring when I needed it, full of energy and humour when I needed a boost, and such a great person to talk to (which is lucky, given how many hours we spent chatting through that marathon labour!)

“Thank you again for everything. I’ll never forget this experience. With all my (slightly sleep-deprived but very sincere) gratitude.” Laura, Marc and baby Gabriel.
