Huge Congratulations to our Trainees of the Year for 2025 - Billy (pictured) and Claire! Billy has worked really hard this year in sessions and massively improved his communication. He has also been very receptive to staff feedback.

Claire is very caring, patient and understanding of the needs of others. She always talks to the other trainees and makes a noticeable effort to include everyone. Her efforts in session and during break and lunch do not go unnoticed and are very appreciated.

Also huge well done to our Highly Commended and Commended Winners this year as well as all of our other trainees - you are all amazing! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

'It was my first Nickel Awards - surreal, really fun. I was so surprised that we were very close to the pitch. Lots of LOL moments. Bring on the absolute craziness of Summer!'

In case you missed on Interestingly Different Instagram, we have a new series called 'Trainee Content' whereby some of our trainees will have the opportunity to help complete posts and reels for Nickel and our enterprises. Huge shout out to Jonny (pictured far right) who really enjoyed putting this together, selecting the photo, learning how to change the backgrounds (our awards were Ibiza themed this year!) and putting together the caption. 👏

Say hello to new support workers Karen and Kirsty!

Karen has enjoyed a variety of roles prior to Nickel Support including running her own juice café in Cheam! Karen has loved support working so far and especially enjoys the everyday variety and expanding her knowledge.

Kirsty is local to the area and has worked in a variety of SEN roles. In her spare time she can be found tending to her garden or getting creative in art classes.

Please say hello when you see them around and get to know them.
