The British Undergraduate Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology - BUSOG

The British Undergraduate Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology - BUSOG The BUSOG is a national society dedicated to obstetrics and gynaecology for medical students and pre-specialty doctors in the UK. The BUSOG Committee

We are in association with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. FOUNDING
The British Undergraduate Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (BUSOG) was founded in 2012 by Lamis Latif and co-founded by Hasan Naveed with help and support from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. WHAT WE PLAN TO DO

We will host a BUSOG events days such as the BUSOG national conferen

ce day, where students can present research, projects and posters and have the opportunity to be chosen to present at the RCOG annual conference day. We plan to be a source of information on funding and opportunities for electives and involvement in O&G projects ongoing in the UK. Our website will be an online destination for those interested in obstetrics and gynaecology. It will enable students to access educational resources, including podcasts and revision notes. It will encourage shared learning, with monthly prizes for the best submitted and peer-reviewed revision articles on common O&G topics. Our website will also host a forum where students can participate in discussion, share experiences of and tips for O&G placements and we will offer the opportunity to curate a BUSOG blog. We plan to work with and for students and junior doctors who are discovering what obstetrics and gynaecology has to offer. JOIN OUR TWITTER PAGE

Calling all UK Medical Students

The BUSOG is pleased to announce our first ever Medical Student survey - Exploring Perceptions of Obstetrics and Gynaecology!

We want to hear from UK medical students at all stages of study to learn more about your thoughts on Obstetrics and Gynaecology as a specialty, both positive and negative.

The survey results will be anonymous, with all data gathered stored securely and only accessible by the BUSOG National Committee. A report of the survey findings will also be shared with the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

There is also the option for survey respondents to enter a giveaway to win a £30 Amazon voucher!

The survey has been extended till the 22nd of March and should only take a few minutes to complete - the link can be found in our LinkTree.
