We are delighted to have been accepted as a Covid vaccine centre again. The vaccine has arrived and we will be inviting eligible patients to come and have this along with the their annual flu jab soon.

Parkshot Pathways has now been running for over two years and allows you to submit clinical and non-clinical requests quickly and easily on-line. We aim to get back to you within a few hours, but it can often be minutes.

This makes sure you get to see the most appropriate person at the most appropriate time. About a 25% of medical issues are solved there and then.

Not comfortable with computers? It is still fine to ring us! Our staff will help complete this for you.

Did you know you don't always need to see your GP?

All our local pharmacies undertake Pharmacy First and are happy to assess and prescribe (including antibiotics if appropriate) for:

sinusitis.
sore throat.
earache.
infected insect bites.
impetigo.
shingles.
uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women

The Pharmacy First service builds on the NHS Community Pharmacist Consultation Service which has run since October 2019. If you need help then use Parkshot Pathways to submit a request. It ensures patients are seen at the right time, by the right person. The current wait for a Face to Face appointment to see a doctor is current 2-4 days.

The data appears very clear. The amount of blood clot events after a Covid vaccinations are below the normal amount expect in a group of people that size with or without the vaccine.

Parkshot feels confident to follow the UK’s governing body and continue its vaccination programme.

Is Europe's AstraZeneca jab decision-making flawed?

Some nations are suspending use of the vaccine, but move may do more harm than good by costing lives.

Parkshot is proud to be a local vaccination centre and to have helped deliver 280,000 vaccination doses in South West London. Amazingly 71% of those have been in General Practice.

We will receive more vaccine soon and will work hard to vaccinate the remaining high risk groups.
