On my yoga mat this morning!Trying to keep up with just a little daily practice because I think it makes all the difference in the world to me Clients often ask me what I do for myself to keep myself feeling the way they do after a craniosacral session, so I thought that while I have a little time on summer break from my counselling degree, I’d take some time to share some of what I’m doing right now.
Firstly, yes, I love craniosacral for myself. It has seen me through 25 years of emotional ups and downs and though I still use other therapies from time to time, I find craniosacral to be the most profound in the depth of change it can produce emotionally, physically and in my nervous system.
I first learned yoga when I was 21 suffering from crippling depression and anxiety. I have always credited the daily practice of the combination of the postures, breathwork and relaxation with my recovery and I will return to it over and over again . Currently I feel I need it more physically for my joints and spine.
Followed by a little turmeric and ginger shot 😄
More to follow!
