My work is inspired by my own life experiences which include marriage, divorce, bereavement, remarriage and parenting. It is a great privilege to be able to help, inspire and guide others on their own healing journeys. I obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Therapeutic Counselling from the Institute of Psychosynthesis, validated by Middlesex University, in 2000. I am an accredited me
mber of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), the Association for Independent Practitioners (AIP) and Association of Psychospiritual Practitioners (APP). I also hold a Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling from the Enfield Counselling Service, which is affiliated to the Westminster Pastoral Foundation. My personal interests include meditation, healing, interfaith dialogue and non-violent communication, as well as different spiritual paths and world religions. Having studied these and a number of other approaches to personal development, I am able to draw on a variety of different techniques, disciplines and traditions to help my clients. I have developed a successful counselling practice and worked in a variety of settings. These include an NHS health clinic, where I saw clients referred by their doctors, and several therapy centres, as well as my own practices in Hertfordshire and North London. I have also been contracted by various Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs) to provide counselling/therapy for employees in need of support. See on my website www.psychotherapycounselling.uk.com how I’ve helped a selection of clients and if you would like to discuss how I can help with your own difficulties, email or call me on 07957 418 985 to chat in confidence. I look forward to talking to you! Claire
“I had been through a particularly trying time in my private life. It was beginning to seriously affect my work and even my ability to complete a normal day. From the start Claire has been supportive, caring, understanding and professional. Undergoing counselling is never easy but I found that in nine short months I regained my ability to cope with life, including all the little stresses along the way.”
