Year 1 pupils at The Roche School in Wandsworth have been busy delving into the Stone Age. Their play involved them travelling back to the time of the hunter-gatherers, and they went on a trip to Butser Ancient Farm where they learnt the art of flint knapping, chalk carving, and wattling.

To find out more about the inspiring teaching at The Roche School, reserve your individual tour today, by emailing admissions@therocheschool.com or phoning 020 8877 0823.

✨ You’re not going "back" to work after maternity leave.

(Yes, you read that correctly.)

Because returning to work after having a child isn’t a return at all.
It’s a continuation.
A transformation.

Each experience, each change, each pause gives new perspective.
Motherhood reshapes you in ways you can’t always name.

Your priorities shift.
Your sense of identity evolves.
Coaching helps women rediscover their professional selves —
you've grown through motherhood and are ready for what comes next.

This is your evolution, not a return.

You’re becoming someone new, shaped by motherhood, ready for what’s next.

Does this resonate with you or someone you know?

Fiorenza Rossini helps mums turn that identity shift into a source of clarity and confidence, so they can step into their next chapter feeling grounded and seen.

Another trip around the sun! 🥂
To getting older with creakier joints, a bit wiser, family cuddles, and lovely friends ❤️.
When I was a child, birthdays were a day for joy, attention and cake 🙂.
Now that I am in my fourth decade, birthdays are about gratitude, reflection, and of course cake 😂 (may that never change!)

After a weekend of celebrations and few more coming, I am looking forward to the new week and the year ahead! ❤️

Renowned Eaton House Schools, which won the three biggest UK scholarships in 2025 –the King’s Scholarship at Westminster, the John Colet at St Paul’s Boys and the Millennium Scholarship at Brighton College– has a fresh ‘forward momentum’ under new Principal, Mrs Alison Fleming.

Formidably qualified, having worked in the Independent and State sectors and spent 12 years as Head of Newton Prep and 4 years as Head of Dulwich College Junior School, she sees the educational ‘giant’ that is the 2-site 4-school Eaton House Schools group as an exciting challenge.

Reception pupils from The Roche School in Wandsworth had a wonderful trip to Holly Lodge Community Centre in Richmond Park 🌳. After listening to Owl Babies, the children immersed themselves in the story. 🦉 They explored nests, made birdfeeders, decorated feathers, hunted for insects and ended the day bird watching.
