✨ Winter Wonderland Crafts at St David’s Care Home! ✨

This afternoon, our wonderful residents dove into a winter arts and crafts workshop, creating their own snowy masterpieces! ❄️
Using paint rollers to spread vibrant colors on paper, we added glue, sprinkled salt for that frosty texture, glitter sequins for sparkle, and stuck on delicate snowflakes to bring it all to life.

The creativity and smiles were endless! Here are a few of the beautiful titles our residents gave their artwork:

Congratulations to our amazing nurse Nesta on her retirement! 🎉🥂

After 19 incredible years at St David’s Care Home, Nesta has retired. Her kindness and dedication have meant the world to residents, families, and our team.

We celebrated her last month with joy, laughter, and lots of love. Thank you for everything, Nesta. We’ll miss you so much! 💐

Our favourite Elvis brought the ultimate festive spirit to St David's Care Home on New Year’s Eve, dazzling everyone with classic hits and heartfelt New Year wishes for our wonderful staff and residents.

We grooved along together grabbing instruments, dancing, and singing — as laughter and joy filled the room.

🎄 What an amazing Christmas Party for our incredible St David’s Care Home team! 🎉

Last night was all about celebrating the hardworking staff who make every day special for our residents. We enjoyed delicious food, fantastic company, great music that got everyone up dancing, and heaps of laughter and fun!

A huge thank you to St David’s Management for the thoughtful gifts presented to every team member – it truly made the evening even more special. ❤️

What a truly special Christmas Day we’ve had here today! Our wonderful residents enjoyed a delicious festive Christmas lunch together, full of laughter and holiday cheer.

Each resident received lovely gifts from St David’s, personally delivered to brighten their day even more. ❤️

It was heartwarming to welcome so many families and friends who came to visit, sharing hugs, stories, and precious moments. A few of our residents even headed out for a joyful day with their loved ones.

🎄✨ Christmas Party for Residents and Families – Highlights ✨🎄

What a wonderful afternoon celebrating Christmas together on Friday 19th December with our residents, their families, and friends 💖

Everyone came together in the activity room to enjoy a truly festive atmosphere, with delicious seasonal food, Christmas crackers, and the joy of live music 🎶. The room was filled with laughter, smiles, and the sound of everyone singing carols together, making it a very special and heart-warming celebration.

A huge thank you to all the residents, families, and staff who helped make this Christmas party so warm, joyful, and memorable. Moments like these really remind us what the festive season is all about 🎅🎄

🎄 Christmas is just around the corner! 🎄

Our amazing Creative Activity Coordinator Agata led a Fun Sensory Christmas Workout filled with gentle exercise, music, and dance. With colourful props and joyful Christmas tunes, she created a truly magical atmosphere for our residents ✨

As part of the session, Agata asked each resident: “What’s your wish for this Christmas?” Here are some heart-warming responses:

The festive fun didn’t stop there as Ann hosted ELF Bingo, and the lounge was full of laughter, cheers, and plenty of BINGO shouts 🧑‍🎄✨ Our residents had an absolute blast — thank you, Ann, for bringing the Christmas magic! 💖✨

🎉 We’ve had such a joyful time at St David’s recently!

We celebrated the birthday of our long-standing resident Martin in the activity room with cake, music, and lots of laughter. Happy Birthday, Martin, from all of us at St David’s! 🎂🎶❤️

We also enjoyed a fantastic performance by Tony Boyle, with everyone joining in on their favourite songs. Such engaging and amazing music — thank you, Tony! 🎵✨

A big thank you to St Stephen’s Church for their wonderful Songs of Praise event. Our residents love these visits, and the delicious homemade cakes made it even sweeter. Everyone had a great time mingling and enjoying the festive atmosphere! 🙏🍰💖
