💖 Celebrating Kindness Day at St David's Care Home !

On Thursday, our staff and residents came together to spread love and positivity for World Kindness Day!

We set up a special Kindness Box Station where everyone could write heartfelt messages to one another. The response was overwhelming, with so many beautiful notes filled with warmth and appreciation.

We proudly displayed these messages on a board outside the activity room, creating a vibrant reminder of the kindness that flows through our home. The day was filled with joy as we danced, laughed, and shared words of kindness and gratitude with one another. ✨💖✨

At St David’s, kindness isn’t just a day — it’s at the heart of everything we do. We’re committed to treating each other with respect, compassion, and care every single day.

🎯🏓 Fun and Games at St David's Care Home ! 🥳🎈

Our residents had an action-packed day filled with laughter and friendly competition! They showed off their skills aiming for the bullseye in darts, and then joined in a fun-filled balloon Table Tennis game, hitting the balloon back and forth with staff and cheering each other on.

Moments like these bring our community together and create smiles all around. 🧡 A huge thank you to our team of activity coordinators for always coming up with creative and joyful ideas to make every day special! ✨

Last weekend, we celebrated Remembrance Day at St. David’s Home by laying wreaths in front of our beautiful memorial. We had a fantastic Guy Fawkes Night celebration as residents and staff gathered to watch a dazzling fireworks display that lit up the sky with vibrant sparkles! ✨
Before the show, everyone enjoyed tasty pizza and delicious samosas in our cosy activity room, filled with laughter and warmth. 😊

What a spook-tacular day we’ve had! Our residents and staff truly embraced the Halloween spirit with a fabulous costume parade, a thrilling Pass the Parcel game with surprise prizes that had everyone cheering, lively dancing to “Monster Mash” tunes, and a creative Spooky Lantern Craft workshop where glowing masterpieces were born! 🕸️🕷️✂️

Laughter, joy, and a little bit of magic filled the air. Huge thanks to our amazing team and residents for making the day unforgettable. 🧡
