You see, the problem isn’t the people pushing our buttons.
It’s the button being there in the first place.

So… what is it?

Christmas has a funny way of turning grown adults into well-trained actors.

We slip back into roles we thought we’d retired from:
• the peacemaker
• the funny one
• the “I’ll just keep quiet” one


Not because they’re true,
but because they’re well-rehearsed.

In NLP we call this state-dependent identity:
your nervous system remembers who it needed to be to BELONG.

If you catch yourself slipping into a familiar role, pause for a moment and ask yourself:

1️⃣ What role am I playing right now?
2️⃣ Is this still needed?
3️⃣ What am I afraid would happen if I didn’t play it?
4️⃣ Who do I actually want to be in this interaction?

Just remember:

Need creates roles.
Awareness creates choice.
Choice creates freedom.

Choose the role you want, not the role you feel you need.

We are pleased to announce that the 15th of November we will be at St Thomas More Catholic School in London with our amazing event Finding Strength, Sharing Stories which incorporates this year antibullying week theme all to prevent bullying and empower secondary school children with inspiring role models.
3 great guest speakers will share their stories:

It starts with a simple “he is so sensitive”, “she is timid”, “naughty”, “you are terrible”, “you are so loud”, “you are not good at..”, “you don’t care”, “you seem so miserable” and so on... and before we know it, we start to believe that these comments about simple behaviours, are instead who we really are.

This identification is so very harming and can have life-long implications on a person’s psychological well-being throughout their lives.

Understanding that a behaviour is NOT who you are but simply what you DO is the first step to reclaim our awesome and loving being that we truly are. Understanding the reason for that behaviour and learning how to express our emotions to be in line with who we truly are, is liberating.

Today is Day 3 of Anti Bullying Week!

This week, all-over the country many charities (linked by the Anti bullying Alliance) are spreading awareness and working with schools and parents towards this very important subject.

I am collaborating with the amazing We Are stringer Charity by hosting 5 workshops and reaching 239 children making them all Superheroes “United against bullying”! 🦸🏻‍♂️🦹‍♀️

Bullying is a serious problem and it has short and long- terms negative effects. Those scars run deep. It is vital to pay attention and give our children the right tools to face it.

Let’s all do our bit 🙏🏻

In my previous job, I was traveling for weeks around the country, waking up in different hotel rooms and towns. Sometimes it could get confusing. There was that moment when I opened my eyes, I looked around and I had to remind myself where I was, what I was doing there, and what I was supposed to do on that day.

Every morning when we open our eyes, we might be in the same place, in the same bed and room but there is always that split second when we remind ourselves “where” we are emotionally. Is there something we have to worry about? have we argued with someone? are we about to do something that makes us happy?

What we choose to reply in that moment sets us up for the day, it will be our focus, our walk, our voice, our thoughts.
