Feedback from Harry who attended nearly all of my weekly classes when I was teaching in Didcot.

πŸ’— I love when people who are completely new to yoga trust me enough to try one of my classes.

πŸ’— My intention is to help people who may not think about themselves as flexible or athletic to find joy in movement and improve their range of movement. And through that, ultimately, their lives and overall well-being.

πŸ’— And it is really not a fashion parade. I love the relaxed vibes where everyone wears what they feel most comfortable in, without having to worry about if they can replicate the typical yoga esthetics you see on Instagram.

✨ Is this sounds right up your street, come to class and try it for yourself at . Free taster class in June! ✨

I first found yoga 12 years ago. It's ***Mental Health Awareness Week***, so I thought it was very timely to talk a bit more about my own yoga journey. I was drawn to it during a challenging period in my life when I experienced , crippling panic attacks and held a lot of physical tension in my body.

It was the combination of and in particular that made the biggest difference for me. It was the first practice where I was taught how to listen to my body and learn to be notice its signals without obsessing over bodily sensations as I used to do.

It was the first place where I was given given the permission to move at the pace and in ways that worked for me. It was in the yoga classes where I slowly started to focus inwards.

And this is the sort of safe, accepting and calm space I'd like to create for everyone who comes to my class. Because I know how transformative can be.

Join us on the mat Thursday evenings between 7.30-8.30pm at the Telegraph Hill Centre in Lewisham, London SE14 5TY.

πŸ’› This is a friendly and supportive space to practice yoga together.

🧑 I take a personalised approach to teaching yoga so you can practice at your unique level, in a way that works for you. Even if you are a complete beginner.

🩷 Together we'll work on improving your strength and range of mobility, whatever your current levels may be. You don't have to be physically active or flexible to practice yoga.

🩢 I teach slow flow yoga classes focused on intentional movement and mindfulness to help you stay in the present, calm your mind and relax your body.

🩡 My experience as a Psychologist influences the way I teach. My goal is for you to leave the classes feeling more supple, more centred and lighter. I'll invite you to leave behind the weight of what doesn't serve you.

πŸ’š Please get in touch before your first class and bring your own mat to class.

You can get in touch with me via Instagram, email or Facebook.

My story

I found yoga 8 years ago when I was searching for holistic practices that integrate mind and body. As a Psychologist, I find it fascinating to see the benefits yoga can have on our mental health and wellbeing. In my teaching I combine physical movement (asanas), breath work (pranayama), meditation and mindfulness.

I work full time as a Management Consultant in London and I know what it feels like when you try to juggle the yogic path with corporate life. This has a strong influence on my approach and I work hard to help fellow yogis apply the yogic teachings and practices to their busy daily lives.

I love variety, so I design each of my class around specific themes - often based on my students' recommendations (e.g. balance; goddess within; resilience or hips, just to name a few). I teach a mix of hatha, vinyasa flow, restorative and yin-style yoga. I also bring in my knowledge and experience as a psychologist and mindfulness practitioner and regularly run Mindful Yoga and Relaxation workshops in the UK.

I am a Yoga Alliance certified teacher (RYT 250). I completed my 250hours Advanced Teacher Training with Sam Rao in the UK - focussed on Classical Hatha Yoga.
