Did you know a simple testicle infection could affect male fertility? ⚠️

Many men ignore testicular pain, swelling, or discomfort, thinking it will go away on its own. But sometimes these symptoms can be a sign of orchitis — an infection or inflammation of the testicle that may lead to long-term complications if left untreated.

Orchitis can develop after a urinary tract infection (UTI), bladder infection, epididymitis, or certain sexually transmitted infections (STIs). In this video, we explain what orchitis is, why it happens, the warning signs to watch for, and when you should see a doctor.

Early diagnosis and treatment can help protect fertility and prevent serious complications like chronic pain or testicular damage.

If you notice testicle pain, swelling, fever, or discomfort, don’t ignore it. Getting checked early can make a big difference in protecting your reproductive health.

🚨 Leaking a little before or after you finish p*eing?
You might think it’s normal — but it’s often a sign that your bladder isn’t working the way it should.

Urinary dribbling can happen to both men and women, and it may point to:
• An overactive (irritable) bladder
• Incomplete bladder emptying
• Enlarged prostate (BPH) in men
• Or other underlying bladder-control issues

The good news?
Most of these problems are treatable when identified early.

In this video, I break down:
❓Why dribbling happens
❓What it means for bladder health
❓How doctors evaluate these symptoms
❓When you should consider getting checked

Bladder issues are more common than you think — and you don’t need to live with the discomfort or embarrassment. Getting the right guidance can make a big difference.

👉 If these symptoms are affecting your daily life or confidence, speak to your urologist. Early evaluation = better outcomes.

OUTSTANDING! I was diagnosed with Stage 1/2 Prostate Cancer in July 2025, all contained within the gland. I was unsure on the way forward, as I had received various contrasting suggestions from various professionals (e.g. periodic monitoring, hormone therapy, radiotherapy, prostate removal 5 years down the line, etc.). However, it was only when I went to see Dr Sridhar (Sept 2025) that the way forward became clear. He showed me that the cancer was located on the edge of the prostate, and that "monitoring" or "hormone therapy" was not going to be suitable in my case, as the cancer had only one way to go: out. This made me decide that the immediate removal of the prostate, and the cancer contained within it, was my best option going forward. Dr Sridhar carried out a "nerve sparing" prostate removal surgery 6 weeks later at the London Clinic (Oct 2025), and removed all the cancer tissues. We planned the preparation of the body (i.e. swimming and Pilates) and, coupled with his outstanding ability to spare the nerves around the prostate, I am recovering quickly (and quicker than expected). I could not have wished for a better outcome. I am cancer free and already recovered my male functions. Thank you.

Episode 6 is here!

Just had prostate surgery? Here’s when it’s safe to fly or drive again! ✈️🚗

Recovery after prostate surgery usually takes about 2–3 weeks, but before planning that trip or long drive, it’s crucial to make sure your body is truly ready. Most men can fly or travel after 4 weeks, depending on recovery progress and your doctor’s advice.

In Episode 6 of the Prostate Health Series, Dr. Ashwin Sridhar, Consultant Urologist, also sheds light on an important truth — not all prostate cancers are aggressive. Many grow slowly and can be managed with careful monitoring rather than immediate treatment.

💪 Thanks to modern medical advancements, even advanced prostate cancers have excellent survival outcomes today.

Understanding your recovery timeline and knowing when to resume daily activities can make a world of difference in your healing journey. 🌿
