Try this FULL MOON RITUAL to celebrate this powerful natural event 🌝 ✨
🌑Find a quiet area where you can sit in silence and contemplation. Perhaps light up an incense stick to make the air smell nice and help keep you grounded.
🌘Dim the lights in your environment or even try to sit in total darkness. Light up one candle and place it right in front of you. Let that be the only source of light if possible, as if you were sitting in the luminous moon rays.
🌗Sit conformably on a cushion or a blanket, and keep a piece of paper and a pen next to you.
🌖Close the eyes and take 3 to 5 deep breaths - inhaling through the nose exhaling through the mouth - and shift into the present moment.
Make eye contact with the flame, and observe how it moves in the darkness, the light that releases.
🌕When you feel connected and present to it, close your eyes again and ask yourself - On which aspects of my life do I want to bring light? - What is not serving me anymore? - What do I want to leave behind, in order to be more grounded in my true reality? - What am I willing to change in order to make my truest dreams and desires manifest?
🌔Take your time to sit and witness what these questions move inside you. Drop the urge to find an answer right away, but rather let these questions be the intentions and the starting point for a deeper reflection.
🌓After observing what came up to the surface, grab the pen and paper and write down or draw anything that you feel relevant. Embrace this step with freedom and openness, letting your intuition guide you.
🌒Once you are done, take a deep breath to clear your mind, and make eye contact with the candle light, bow down 3 times, honouring the bright energy of the moon, honoring yourself and your courage to show up to actively make a change in your reality.
