Mind the gap… and keep it exactly where you want it.

This upper fixed retainer was designed with intention. A direct bonded retainer does not always mean closing every space. In this case, my patient chose to maintain her midline diastema as it runs in her family and forms part of her identity.

Retention should protect the result you want, not change it. With a customised design, we can stabilise alignment while preserving natural features that matter to the patient.

Orthodontics is not about creating identical smiles. It is about creating the right smile for the person in front of you.

Today I got to step out of clinic and into character… as the Tooth Fairy! 🧚‍♀️🦷🪄

I had the absolute joy of taking part in the Tooth Fairy Academy video shoot - a creative project aimed at helping children learn about oral health in a magical, memorable way.

While I’m usually in scrubs, today was all about sparkle, playfulness, and letting my inner child shine through (with a toothbrush wand, of course). 🪥✨

Massive thanks to the team for making it such a fun and meaningful experience - especially for involving real dental professionals in a project that bridges education with imagination.

Can’t wait to see the final videos roll out across the campaign and beyond!
