in denial that we are in the seventh month of this year, i’m not quite sure where it all went and what i did with each of the 184 days that have made up this year but here we are.

a much slower month for me work wise, i am taking this month away from 1:1 offerings, a few classes are on pause until the summers end but there are still spaces to settle with me every week and a wonderful two hour workshop on offer.

2 hours of yin, aromatherapy and sound.
a fully immersive workshop to guide you on a sensory journey. we will be exploring scent and the potency of aromatherapy, weaving the use of oils into a long and languid yin practice. we will spiral towards a deep, extended sound journey with the gong, singing bowls and other soothing sounds.

- musing under the moon -

It has been quite some time since I last shared on here, internally I have been navigating a lot of deep work that I’m not able to fully verbalise right now.

I have experienced a lot of advantage taking and a moment of utterly painful trust breaking that has for a while sent me spiralling, and once again left me to tend to the untangling of the tapestry of memories that surfaced.

There have been many snips of threads in the process and allowing them to unravel has been surprisingly cathartic.

As we meet the full lamp gaze of the moon, under the fiery sign Sagittarius I’m reminded to take a moment to fully look and reflect. As the full moon is an invitation to take a pause and perhaps leave a few things behind, I realise that to let go most certainly gave me space for so much more.

Whether you guide yourself through a languid ritual of burning, cutting ties and releasing or whether your eyes simply settle on the orb hovering above, I wish you an abundance of whatever it is you need right now.

17 years of offering touch, space and connection.

the beautiful fluidity of life and evolution of self has changed some of what i offer - but always regardless of my own health, birthing babies, new ventures and lost ones I find myself coming back to touch.

a childhood filled with papa-ji’s knowledge on massage and with the scent of fragrant oils on skin, means my soul feels most home when I share these sacred offerings.

mama hood and an increased studio schedule means my massage offerings are limited but there are always a handful of spaces open to book every month.

treatments are a fluid blend of eastern and western therapies, using Ayurvedic techniques, oils and powders as well as aromatherapy. I often incorporate sound, pranayama and meditation before and after touch. each session is absolutely unique and tailored to the energy of each client.

i know we all should receive touch that soothes and relieves, not as a treat but as a necessity to release the physical, energetic and emotional containment we often find ourselves holding.

what i invite all to remember - your body is a sacred vessel, a sensory splendour, a divine portal for the souls movement on this earth.

serving a body individually; through massage, healing and sound is an honour.

for 17 years (in fact for a lifetime) my soul has been called to body and energy work. the ritual of my offerings has organically changed across the years but the essence of why is still there, the guidance from my ancestors still weaves richness to every offering and still fills me with the deepest joy.

to be still with oneself is not an act of forcing emptiness.

to truly see is not simply having the eyes open.

to be still is not an invitation to control anything; the still of the inner looking is a connection to reality.

this forcefully spewed out notion that meditation is an escape into emptiness, is the strangest concept.

empty mind?

isn’t it actually the art of listening?

i have the most profound conversations with the silent spaces. the richness of the experience has its own language.

•

we are so blinded by what we see, we try so hard to look that we miss what is inside us.

we seek the empty. but the truth is it isn’t empty at all.
