How the AVID Clinic Began

AVID Clinic was originally called “Beauty Moments”. It was founded by Vijay & Asha Vadi and supported by Trishul & Kushal Vadi in 1995 as a home based beauty therapy spa.

Clients would travel long distances for the ‘AVID’ experience, and would always be welcomed with warm drinks and refreshments whilst they waited for their treatment.

Being based in such an intimate setting, and receiving outstanding service, clients could not help but feel as part of the family as they would be offered food, beverages and refreshments whilst they spend time with the family.

During their time waiting for and receiving treatment, they would have deep meaningful conversations helping to develop a new restored inner confidence once they have finished.

Over time, more and more services were added to the already diverse range of treatments, and the business began to expand and do well beyond expectations.

As the good word spread about the bespoke service and unrivalled approach to spa treatment, more and more people visited the AVID household for the warm family focused experienced.

But as the business continued to grow, treatment spaces within the house became scarce as it expanded from the lounge into the living area, then the rooms, and even the kitchen!

At this point it was to time to move into a new building, ‘a larger home’, to accommodate all of the clients - considered family.

Whilst based at this location the AVID Clinic continued to grow and the service again broadened into new areas including: Beauty treatment, Aesthetics & Healthcare.

With plans to add more services and further satisfy clients it was decided that a Dental practice will be added to the ever growing clinic, but there was only one problem….

Not enough space.

So in May 2018, it became time to take another big step and move into a fully refurbished specially designed building at 107 Station Road, West Wickham, BR4 0PX.
