The world is a crazy place, slightly crazier than usual at the moment

I always struggle when to comes to posting and speaking about my work during these times as it feels rather insensitive but I have bills to pay

Yes I try to post things to my stories about the world to keep some form of balance between whats going on but sometimes I feel like my feed can look a bit out of touch

In sessions often you hear about people worries, concerns and their dreams, and you must respect that and be empathetic to create trust and build that relationship whilst allowing them to do something for themselves that their future self with thank them for

I try to leave a positive mark on people and hope they leave the studio or treatment feeling lighter, more energised and feeling like they can take ok anything

In midst of the chaos we need to find something a little more lighthearted to stop the spiral, so hopefully we have a little laugh with this x

Strength isn’t just built through effort- It’s built through regulation..

Sunlight, Play, Co-regulation, Intentional rest
These aren’t luxuries, they are recovery tools

The aim is a Strong body and Soft nervous system

Love exists in many forms

It’s showing up, early mornings and late evenings
It’s guiding intentional movement
It’s restoring through touch
It’s supporting your strength from the inside out
It’s real connection

I give my time, my energy, and my care because helping you move better, feel stronger, heal deeper, and become your best self isn’t just my work- it’s my love language

I believe that when people feel good in their bodies, they thrive in their lives and this is what love looks like to me

Caring is my career and LOVING what I do is the bonus

Hope you all had a great Valentines however you chose to spend it

Who doesn’t want to move and feel their best?

We have created a world that demands and expects a lot of us. We put stress on ourselves daily and hold onto stress until it starts to show up in the body in ways that cause us more problems

Being able to show up as your best self in all areas of your life is what we all aim for, but in order to do that you need to put yourself and your needs first

Take an hour or more to focus on your breathing, to relax and recover

Everyone posting about 2016, so here we are: The good the bad and the ugly

There are MANY moments from 2016 I would hope didn’t repeat

However, there are many things I would love to see make a come back and Im not just hoping for 3 wonderful months of beach life but also having every opportunity in front of me to take if I so wish.

The opportunity to continue to reinvent and find myself; the opportunity to learn more about myself and having friends call me out on my own bad behaviours/traits whilst continuing to open my eyes to situations I may not want to see or believe

Our hardest years although not pleasant are crucial for growth and shaping our future by pushing for buckets of personal development (even if you dont see it that way in the beginning)

Those difficult but transformative years allow you to appreciate the wonderful calmer years inbetween

#2016

2025 a crazy year, lots of change happened, shedding if you will- I embraced it with open arms and tried to adjust and adapt as quickly as possible. I continued to let go of fears, managing my mental and physical health and pushing myself a little further which I aim to continue doing for years to come

There has been some not so nice times this year, plenty of horrific moments if Im honest, but there have also been some wonderful moments which for my own wellbeing Id rather focus on… so, I apologise if this all seems too positive and less realist, hopefully this caption balances it out and makes it clear this year has been a melting pot of emotions and moments

Here is to next year: more travel, excitement, exploration, working with people and on things I adore and of course, lots of growth and love for this coming year

There are more to add to the list, also to clarify, I do not have my sh*t together but I am trying to 😩🤣

Back to dark early morning starts, jackets/ coats are back in rotation and fun events that make the dark slightly miserable days more bearable

Locking in the basics will make a huge difference to how you feel physically and mentally

For example as the weather gets colder you tend to hold more tension in your body in an attempt to stay warm, annoyingly this can cause extra niggles and aches to pop up not to mention dodging all the colds and sicknesses going around

Some things to focus on to help with this is:

1- Sufficient good quality sleep otherwise your body’s temperature regulation gets disrupted so you may feel colder than usual and it can cause your cortisol levels to rise which may cause blood vessel constriction also making you feel colder

2- Eating nourishing meals to make sure you are giving your body what it needs especially as all the nasty bugs are going around. Little reminder that in the UK it is recommended to supplement with at least Vit D from October until March

3- Keeping your body moving, this not only will keep your body strong but staying still for long periods of time causes muscles to feel stiff and can cause excessive tension. Movement will also release those lovely endorphins for a much needed mood boost

The basics never fail once you have them “locked down” you should then look at ways to further enhance your health with regular treatments to assist with recovery and keep you moving and feeling your best

Everyone will have different variations of what this looks like so if you were thinking of comparing your routine with someone else’s, don’t
