I want to reintroduce a research study I participated in that was published back in 2021: ‘My face in someone else’s hands’: a qualitative study of medical tattooing in women with hair loss, published in Psychology, Health & Medicine.

This work was carried out in collaboration with Dr Nicola Marie Stock and her team at the Centre for Appearance Research (CAR) and University of the West of England, and continues to contribute to important conversations around appearance, wellbeing, and patient experience.
