You have to step out of your comfort zone to grow as a person and experience new wonderful things.

Don't let your comfort zone keep you trapped!

Unhelpful behavious patterns often come from previous coping mechanisms.

The trouble is if as an adult you continue using old patterns.

Have a look at what you do and think to yourself about how that helped you in the past but is no longer serving you.

This is something I can support you with. I offer both in-person and online therapy sessions.

Send me a DM or click the link in my bio to find out more.

If you haven't tried affirmations, this is your sign. They're not magic, they're not the universe delivering things for you but they are evidence-based. They work because when you repear things often it creates a reality in your sub-conscious which is the part of your mind that shapes most of your behaviour.

Check out my recent affirmations post and save it to use them daily.

You have more power than you realise - especially through your self-talk...

Try making a conscious effort to identify every time you talk badly about yourself and swap it with a positive twist (even if you don't feel it). Most of our behaviours are coming from our subconscious so this is a really effective way of changing the narrative of your subconscious.

Save this and read them out loud to yourself every day.

our reactions don’t start in the moment…
they’re often the result of patterns your brain has learned over time.

Through repetition and experience, the brain builds automatic pathways -
so certain triggers lead to familiar emotional or behavioural responses without much conscious thought

That’s why you might:
• React quickly before thinking
• Feel emotions that seem disproportionate
• Repeat responses you don’t fully understand

These reactions aren’t random, they’re learned, stored, and triggered automatically.

The important part is this:
what’s been learned can also be changed.

The idea that “95% of behaviour is subconscious” is widely shared, but it’s better understood as a useful approximation, not a fixed rule.

What matters is this:

Your brain relies heavily on automatic processes
built from past experiences, habits, and learned responses.

That’s why:
• We repeat patterns
• We react before thinking
• We struggle to change behaviours

Not because something is “wrong” -
but because the brain is designed for efficiency.

Understanding this can help you approach change
in a more realistic and effective way.

It’s easy to call yourself lazy. To think you just need more willpower.
More motivation.
More discipline.

But if that were true, you’d have changed by now.

Because the issue usually isn’t that you don’t want to move forward - it’s that a part of you doesn’t feel safe doing it.

So you procrastinate.
You overthink.
You pull back just as things start to improve.

Not because you’re broken, but because your mind is trying to keep you within what it knows.

What’s familiar.
What’s predictable.
What feels safe - even if it’s limiting.

Your mind would rather keep you in a pattern it recognises than risk stepping into something unknown.

Because to your subconscious, familiar often feels safer than better.

And this is where things begin to shift:

When you stop trying to force yourself forward
and start understanding why you keep holding yourself back.

Because self-sabotage isn’t something to fight - it’s something to work with.

And when your mind finally feels safe enough to let go of old patterns…
that’s when real change becomes possible.

TAG Philosophies

TAG’s organisational structure

We have Leaders. We do not have Officers, Directors or Managers who belong to an outmoded hierarchical system and tend to create inefficient ‘them and us’ organisations that are always at risk of being driven by force, fear and unfairness

A true leader gets results through inspiring people, which creates genuine aspiration within their group that encourages others to follow them towards a unified goal. This is a new, modern, dynamic and fair way to do business, generating a greater likelihood of commercial success that benefits all within the organisation, as well as our customers

Our structure is lean and flat with a maximum of only 6 layers/levels, giving everybody the opportunity to climb to the highest level. We always encourage our people to progress through the company and reach their ultimate potential
