Hi everyone, who's looking forward to a warm bank holiday weekend?

The last few weeks have been quite tough. I was busy finishing my 2 case studies and revising for my Indian Head Massage theory.📝

I'm pleased to say that it all went well, my case studies were approved.

I'm also absolutely buzzing as i PASSED my practical examination this afternoon!🎉

Congratulations to all the students doing their practical/theory today. You all smashed it people, good luck in all your future ventures. 🙌🏻🥳

Also a massive thank you to all the staff and tutors at the London school of massage for guiding me through this course, helping me grasp the basics of anatomy and physiology and helping me fine tune my Indian head massage techniques.

I couldn't have done it without you.🙏🏻

Just got a few weeks wait on the results of my theory so fingers crossed. 😬🤞🏻

In the meantime i have availability for 30 minute Indian head massage and 60 minute Reiki treatments.

Just finished reading this incredible book I picked up whilst visiting the Amaravati Buddhist Monastery last year.

I highly recommend picking up a copy if you can. It's full of wonderful insights into realising the origins of suffering.

The Buddhist lifestyle might not be for everyone but the teachings can really open your eyes to how society is conditioned by today's material world.

TFI Friday!! Hope you've all had a a great week!

What's your plans for the weekend?

Tommorow is the last day of my Itec foundation course in Indian head massage so no chill for me. I'll be in the classroom all day doing study and practical.

Can't complain though, the only way to achieve your dreams is through hardwork and sometimes that means sacrificing your favourote things.

Hope you all enjoy your time whatever your doing. Fingers crossed this amazing weather continues.

Wow they don't call it spring for nothing. This weather literally "sprung" out of nowhere. Hope your having a great start to the week.

Remember stay, happy, positive and follow your dreams. You can achieve anything you want to in life you just have to be willing to commit to it and never lose sight 9f your goal.

The path is long and hard but when you arrive at your destination you will find that it was all worth it in the end.

Who loves a bit of Netflix? Just had a binge session of Russian Doll and I'm absolutely hooked!!

Realy good storyline, lots of funny dialouge and even a hint of past life regression in there. Bit like Groundhog day with more twists.

Have you seen it? If so what's your take?

Managed a whole series in 2 days, I'm pretty sure that's a new binge record for us.

What series have you seriously binged and what's your recommendations for another series to look out for? Open to pretty much anything so let's have fun😁

My first attempt at drawing Japanese characters.🙈

Apologies for the absolute horrendous mess I made of them, it was late and I was really nervous hence the shaky hands.

My reason for attempting them is this. Symbols are a massively Important part of Reiki.

The symbols used are so sacred that Tibetan monks used to draw them on the roofs of their mouths with their tounges to maintain their secrecy.

And although there is no need for such extremes in the modern world it is still essential to show respect.

I recently saw somone say that one of the best ways to learn the Reiki symbols is to draw them 100 times over until you can do them with your eyes closed.

So I plan to do so, over and over until I no longer need to look at them and they are as natural to me as breathing air.

Obviously I haven't filmed my attempts at drawing the symbols used in Reiki as unnecessary exposure clearly lacks respect so instead I thought I would share the characters for the two syllables that make up the word.

"Rei" - Is the universal life. The creation itself. It is everything you see, hear, smell, taste, feel and touch

And "Ki" Is the universal energy that fuels creation, it is the ultimate force that gives birth to everything from a kitten to a galaxy full of moons planets and stars.

When brought together both of those syllables are what defines the very essence of Reiki and it's ability to heal. Hope you've had a great Monday.

"Meditation" or "meditive practice" Is the key to reaching a hightened state of spiritual awareness. But achieving mental clarity is not always as simple as just focusing on a single subject.

To find yourself at an emotionally calm and stable state you first need to be able to let go of absolutely every thought and emotion.

Only then can you begin to see your true self and realise that you are part of a universal energy that when harnessed can be used to positively change the world for you and others around you.

This type of "awakening" can be so prolific in Its happening that it kick starts a wonderful chain of life events which over time can carve a beautiful existence full of meaning and purpose for an individual.

Letting go is not easy but the more we commit to the intention of releasing our thoughts the closer we get to the possibility of experiencing that beautiful awakening.

Hope you've had a beautiful weekend, wishing everyone love, light and the most positive of energy for the week ahead. Go seize the moment and make a great today followed by an even greater tomorrow.

•Tonights reading•

I've read this book twice already in the past 5 years and now I'm reading it for the third time.

There's nothing wrong with revisiting literature because no matter how many times you've read it in the past this time around a section of it's content will always seem more relevant than it was before.

It may be relevant to something you have just experienced, a situation or junction of life that you are currently going through or maybe something that is yet to come but you don't even know it yet.

Whatever it is the thirst for understanding and knowledge never fades and you should always feed your desire to keep developing and growing.

Learning is a life long passage and just when you think you've mastered your art you're guaranteed to find new teachings that challenge what you already know and understand. 🧘🏼‍♂️

Hi everyone, feeling deeply energised and inspired after a 45 minute meditation this evening while listening to this CD.💿

It was a gift from my wife's very first Reiki teacher and even though it's seen better days I could never bring myself to throw it away! 🕉

For me it holds a very special place in my heart as i was listening to it the very first time I opened my chakras.🌌

The explosion of colour and light I saw with my eyes closed is something that is etched in my memory and although many years have passed since then this piece of musc is always my go-to when I need to find my highest possible state of inner peace.☮

The sounds and instruments used throughout the cd have a way of calming me like no other music I have ever listened to and it has helped me through a vast number of life situations, my driving test and job interviews to name but a few. I suppose you could say, "it's an oldie but a goodie"😄

Crystal of the day! - Raw Sodalite

When faced with a table full of crystals it's very hard to resist the urge to buy them all. Our problem is we buy them but never really understand how to use them properly.

On Sunday we asked Penny King what we should do with our rapidly growing collection, her advice was simple. Put them in a bowl, every morning pick one you feel drawn to, keep it close all day, then before bed rinse it under a tap and put it back in a bowl.

Today I tried it out for myself and was rewarded with this absolute beauty. I cant even explain why i was drawn to it, it just felt right the minute i held it in the palm of my hand so I stuck with it.

Today I needed creative inspiration, reasurrance and was struggling with self confidence. I couldn't have picked a better suited stone as Sodalite is great for ideas, perception and helps greatly with feelings of inadequacy, mental unrest, fear and oversensitivity.

Its completely true what they say, you don't have to look for the crystal that will benefit you the most. Just pick the one you like the feel of and its guaranteed to be the one you needed the most!
