Our best wishes for the weekend go out to our friends and patients taking part in the Hackney Half Marathon and Community 5K Run this weekend.

As only occasional 5K runners, myself and my partner have huge respect for the efforts made to prepare for these events. It's not only a big win for the health of the the participants, but for the charities that will benefit from your hard work!

Although I won't be there with you I'm excited to be spending the weekend refreshing and learning new skills on the Runners Repairs Course with The Running Physio Tom Goom.

I'll be using and communicating these skills to our team to improve the level of service we provide not only to runners, but to everyone that visits us at Osteopathy London.

I was pleased to be asked to contribute to the most recent Guardian Saturday supplement on the topic of joint health.

The word count was very limited but I'm fortunate to have had the opportunity to reach a wider audience.

There is so much more that can be said about joint health, mobility, pain relief and other important subjects.

We are fortunate to be welcoming a new colleague to the team at Osteopathy London.

Cerys Taylor will be joining us on the 27th and will be working on Tuesday afternoon and evening, Fridays and Saturdays.

During studies for her Masters in Osteopathy, Cerys ran her own massage business, and so she brings a wealth of hands-on expertise to the role.

She has always been interested in all things human and completed a Bachelor’s in Biological Anthropology before discovering Osteopathy.

Working with osteopathic patients with chronic health issues in a charity setting has further enhanced her understanding of how stress and psychosocial factors impact the health and wellness of the individual, and the importance of addressing these elements as part of a well-rounded approach.
