I have a particular interest in TMJD/TMD, jaw pain, clicking jaws, headaches, and bite problems since I used to suffer from them myself. As the first Certified UK DTR Provider (Disclusion Time Reduction Therapy), I utilise a T Scan bite computer along with electronic muscle sensors (EMGs). These tools help me objectively analyse the connection between your bite and the dysfunction in your jaw and head.
The discomfort you’ve been told is 'in your head' becomes visible and quantifiable in real numbers, presented in a video format which we can both see. By seeing and then treating the root cause—how your teeth come together—we can effectively address these issues.
My aim is to provide a holistic approach to healthcare, ensuring a judgement-free and personalised experience for every patient. I believe in clear communication, often thinking out loud to keep you informed and involved in your own care. This not only helps you understand the process but also adds some laughs along the way.
To enhance your understanding, I use a camera to show you what's happening inside your mouth. This way, we can work together to identify and explain problem areas as we go along.
I also provide solutions for snoring and sleep apnoea through anti-snoring devices (mandibular advancement splints) such as the Panthera, Prosomnus, S4S SleepWell. I provide home sleep study tests using the Acupebble device along with referrals to sleep specialists when appropriate.
Additionally, I offer a comprehensive range of high-quality restorative dental services. These include full mouth reconstructions, dental implants, tooth straightening, root canal treatment, complex surgical tooth extractions, suction dentures, high-end crowns, tooth-coloured composite restorations, and smile makeovers.
I particularly enjoy creating extremely well-fitting dentures (suction dentures), which help restore the smile and confidence of those who have lost their teeth. This is especially beneficial for the elderly, as it improves their ability to chew food and enhances their nutrition. My dentures never need 'glue' and do not fall out while eating or speaking. I use the BPS/SEMCD protocols to achieve this.
