Great Mental Health Day is Back π
This Friday, 30 January, London comes together for Great Mental Health Day. It's a reminder that mental health matters just as much as physical health, and that we all have a role to play in supporting each other. π€
Celebrating Everyday Spaces β¨
This year's theme highlights the community halls, cafΓ©s, libraries, parks, and local clubs where connection happens. βπ³π These are the places where someone might first feel safe enough to say, "I'm struggling" or "I need help." They're often where support begins, quietly and powerfully.
Strong relationships are one of the best protections for our mental health. Whether it's friends, family, neighbours, or community groups, feeling connected makes a real difference, especially for those facing tough times. πͺ
What You Can Do
β¨ Take a moment this Friday to check in with a friend
π¬ Ask how they're really doing
πΏ Visit a local space that brings you comfort
π£οΈ Simply start a conversation about mental health
Let's keep talking, keep connecting, and keep looking out for each other. π
Your mental health matters. π«Ά
