This week’s meet our team continues with Miss Krithiga Ilangovan.

Miss Ilangovan has been a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Epsom and St Helier trust since 2013.

She graduated from medical college in 1998 and Completed her postgraduate training in O&G (MD)in Chennai in one of the busiest maternity hospitals in India in 2002 . She completed her specialist training in O&G in Yorkshire and London. She obtained her MRCOG in 2006. She completed her fellowship in fertility and assisted reproduction in ST. Helier Hospital and Kings college London and gained extensive experience in all aspects of managing subfertility and IVF treatments.

Miss Ilangovan believes in holistic approach when it comes to managing subfertility in couples and offers individualised patient centred treatment.

Happy world embryologist day!

On the 25th July we celebrate our embryology colleagues as it marks the birthday of the first IVF baby.

Mr Wattar is an Associate Professor of Reproductive Medicine and a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals in London.

He is an RCOG accredited Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and leads the endocrine gynaecology service at the Beginnings Assisted Conception Unit.

Mr Wattar has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of polycystic o***y syndrome (PCOS) focused on offering holistic care for women with this condition. He has published widely on PCOS treatments and works collaboratively with the Verity PCOS charity to deliver high quality healthcare and research for women with PCOS. He also has an interest in the fertility preservation, male subfertility, recurrent implantation failure and ovulation induction for couples with anovulatory subfertility.

Mr Wattar featured on today’s BBC breakfast discussing NHS funding for IVF in the UK.
We offer NHS funded IVF cycles at Beginnings ACU for eligible patients who are registered with a South West London GP.

Miss Christina Ding is a Consultant Gynaecologist specialising in Reproductive Medicine and Laparoscopic Surgery with over 20 years of experience in gynaecology.

Miss Ding obtained her medical degree from Imperial College London, UK in 1999. She completed her higher specialist training across the UK in a number of large teaching hospitals including Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge and John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

Miss Ding is a trainer and teacher on a number of internationally and nationally recognised gynaecology and infertility training courses at facilities such as the British Fertility Society (BFS) and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG).

Meet our team! Over the coming weeks we’re are going to introduce our team at Beginnings ACU.

Today we are introducing Mrs Carolyn Croucher, our person responsible and clinical lead.
Mrs Croucher is a consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician and reproductive medicine specialist with over 30 years experience within the field.

She is an accredited teacher and instructor for the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG) and the British Fertility Society (BFS) and was instrumental in the creation of the Beginnings ACU at Epsom & St Helier NHS University Trust.
She trained in South London, Oxford and Bristol regions, finally specialising in the field of reproductive medicine as lecturer to Professor Lord Robert Winston at Hammersmith Hospital
