Spring is here! In our breakfast club session, the children got creative making fluffy clouds and colourful rainbows using cotton balls and vibrant paper. Inspired by April’s ever-changing weather—where it can feel like all four seasons in one day—the children explored rain, sunshine, and everything in between! 🌦️🌈

This fun activity helped develop their creativity and fine motor skills as they carefully shaped, stuck, and arranged their designs. It also encouraged imagination and conversation about the world around them, helping children understand weather patterns while expressing their ideas through art. A wonderful mix of learning and fun!

In breakfast club construction session, the children worked really well together to create this amazing boat. They used a trial-and-error approach to refine their ideas and make their design look fantastic.

Through this activity, the children developed important skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience. They learned how to share ideas, test different solutions, and keep trying even when things didn’t work the first time. It was wonderful to see their creativity and perseverance shine!
