Spring is in the air … can you feel it? In celebration of the Spring Equinox we will be holding another Restorative Yin and Sound Bath at St Mary’s Church Hall, Long Ditton on Friday 24 March 8-9.30pm. The Spring Equinox falls the day before the New Moon in Aries … these two auspicious occasions set the scene perfectly for new beginnings and growth, symbolises by the element of wood in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Why not join us for an evening of rejuvenation and self care with surrounded by the beautifully therapeutical resonance of the .soundhearts gongs and percussion instruments. This event falls at a powerful time of energy with full lunar eclipse taking place on the full moon in Ta**us, the day before our event. As you know, eclipses magnify the energy that they coincide with. Ta**us is an Earth sign, which will thankfully provide us with with a grounding influence amidst everything the eclipse has shaken up. As we find ourselves in an unsettling period, in which we crave stability, the full moon will give us the opportunity to embrace our wholeness, just like that of the moon … the theme for our Yin & Gong practice.

Happy Hunter’s Moon! In bygone era, hunter gatherers would be busy cumulating their stores for the colder, harsher months ahead.

This is the the first full moon after the Autumn Equinox and falls in Aries ♈️, a powerful fire sign in the zodiac calendar. A poignant juncture to reflect on everything that has taken place in year; letting go of everything not serving you as you move forward into the hibernating months alongside nature.

It’s that time of year. Looking forward to seeing you all.

.soundhearts and I are thrilled to be back at the Yoga Hutch offering our first Yin & Gong post Summer, at the heart of Autumn and giving us the opportunity to work with the illuminating energy of the Hunter's Moon.

Wednesday 12 October: 8-9.30pm
St Mary’s Church Hall

This event falls a few weeks after the Autumn Equinox: the seasonal shift has well and truly taken place and as we observe nature starting to withdraw inward ... we instinctively feel like we need to do the same, in preparation for the colder, harsher months ahead. In a bygone era, Hunter Gatherers would be cumulating stores at this time to survive the winter ahead. This full moon also falls in the zodiac sign of Aries, a fire sign calling us to action, particularly where we identify that there are things holding us back from following our heart; maybe finding balance in your life, incorporating self-care or evaluating your relationships.

Although we no longer need to collect food like the Hunter Gatherers of old, food is not always in abundance for all. We are proposing a food bank collection this evening. If you are able to, please do contribute whatever you can to the Trussell Trust collection.
