We’re so grateful to Sev, one of our wonderful parents, for sharing her heartfelt words about Community Focus in this month’s The Archer newspaper.

“Community Focus is a godsend to families like ours… the encouragement never wanes. Every member of staff is a brilliant cheerleader.”

Thank you, Sev, for your kind words and for being part of our community. It’s a privilege to support Imi and so many others, and to create a space where you feel welcomed, encouraged and valued every day. ♥️

We did it – and exceeded our target

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised an incredible £9,965, surpassing our £9,000 goal in the Arts for Impact campaign.

With match funding, this means even greater support for the long-term creative spaces we provide.

These spaces reduce isolation, build confidence and create lasting connections for our amazing community.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared and supported us along the way.

And a special thank you to Big Give for providing match funding and making this impact possible.

Final 24 hours to double your donation

We have just 24 hours left in our Arts for Impact campaign.

So far, we’ve raised £8,020, unlocking vital match funding from Big Give.

We now need just £490 more to reach our target before 12pm tomorrow (Tuesday).

After that, the match funding disappears.

This is your final chance to have your donation doubled.

Community Focus provides long-term creative spaces that counter isolation. Every day we see friendships formed, confidence rebuilt and independence strengthened.

Your support keeps those doors open.

£25 → £50
£50 → £100
£100 → £200
£100 + Gift Aid → £225

Please help us cross the finish line.

We’re halfway there

We’re halfway through our Arts for Impact campaign and thanks to generous supporters, we’ve raised £2,340, already doubled to £4,680 through Big Give match funding.

This means real investment in long-term creative spaces that counter isolation.

Community Focus Inclusive Arts exists because isolation is real. For disabled adults and young people, opportunities to belong in creative spaces are too often limited or short term.

We provide something different.

Consistent weekly programmes.
A welcoming and inclusive environment.
Creative practice that builds confidence over years, not weeks.

There is still time to give and have your donation doubled.

With Gift Aid, £100 becomes £225 at no extra cost.

We have £2,160 left to unlock before midday, Tuesday 24 March.

If you’ve been meaning to give, now is the moment.

We’re hiring!

We are seeking an experienced and inspiring freelance choir tutor to deliver inclusive, high-quality sessions for adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and other support requirements, as part of Community Focus’s In-House Programme.

This is a new and exciting project for Community Focus, made possible by National Lottery funding through a Reaching Communities grant. Our choir tutor will play a central role in shaping what this programme becomes: building a welcoming space where participants can find their voice, develop musical confidence, and connect with others through song.

We strongly encourage applications from disabled and neurodivergent people and people from global majority backgrounds, as we want our governance to reflect the communities we serve.
