Arts and Crafts organisation for people with severe and enduring mental health needs in South East London.

Arts Network is proud to unveil our logo refresh, co-produced with our members to ensure that this new design feels true to the charity’s vision, represents and celebrates the diversity of our membership, and is accessible and welcoming.

We partnered with Graphic Designer Lily Forbes to gather input from members, staff, and trustees through focus groups and creative activities with voting and feedback options. Thank you Lily and all involved!

A key motivation in our design refresh was to better reframe understanding of mental health for the public, and champion the fantastic diverse community of members that make up Arts Network.

Heartfelt thanks to our members and to all who have been part of this journey, particularly Graphic Designer Lily Forbes who works at UAL: University of the Arts London and supported us with volunteering her time skilfully and collaboratively guiding the process.

We will continue to evolve our visual communications in consultation with our members. Read more about our design journey in the link below, and we’d love to hear your thoughts. Exciting times ahead!

It’s ! We want to say thank you to all 9 of our trustees for the time, effort, expertise and commitment they bring to Arts Network to help us thrive.

We heard from 3 of our trustees, Rosie, Jason and Anna, who shared some reflections on what it means to them to be a trustee and also how they engage with creativity for their mental health.

Artist in Focus: Mark Hibbert / Mark Kram

We love to showcase our members' artworks in the Arts Network Studio and our current exhibition is the work of Mark Hibbert who has great skill with character, colour and shape.

In conversation with Mark he said that seeing his artwork up made him feel "Brilliant. People can appreciate my presence."

Talking about making he said "It's very therapeutic for me. It satisfies me.... I'm quite brave when it comes to art. I love that. Let's see. I'm really curious..."

Fantastic pieces full of curiosity, energy and humour. Thank you Mark!

We've had a wonderful July as part of contemporary arts festival Deptford X and want to congratulate all of the people who made it happen including festival organisers, venues, volunteers, visitors and of course the artists.

We partnered with Art Hub Studios for an Open Studios on Saturday 19th July which was attended by over 300 guests, and were delighted to welcome visitors into our studio space to see behind the scenes and get involved with a mosaic workshop. It was great to have a visit from local Councillor Rosie Parry too.

We also had representation in the Art Hub building with several members and team opening their individual art studios to the public, alongside having work in the Group Exhibition that ran in the Gallery throughout the festival and was visited by over 1000 people!

A fantastic celebration of local artists that we were delighted to be part of!
