We've had a wonderful July as part of contemporary arts festival Deptford X and want to congratulate all of the people who made it happen including festival organisers, venues, volunteers, visitors and of course the artists.

We partnered with Art Hub Studios for an Open Studios on Saturday 19th July which was attended by over 300 guests, and were delighted to welcome visitors into our studio space to see behind the scenes and get involved with a mosaic workshop. It was great to have a visit from local Councillor Rosie Parry too.

We also had representation in the Art Hub building with several members and team opening their individual art studios to the public, alongside having work in the Group Exhibition that ran in the Gallery throughout the festival and was visited by over 1000 people!

A fantastic celebration of local artists that we were delighted to be part of!

This Volunteers Week 2025 we want to shine a light on the fantastic individuals that support Arts Network with their skill, passion and commitment.

We are proud to have a creative community of members, several of whom develop roles as volunteer co-facilitators of workshops.

Fred (pictured here) recently ran a series of sessions on Colour Theory Made Easy that participants found fascinating and enlightening. Other volunteer co-facilitated sessions include our regular Crafting Afternoons with Dawn and Jo, Knit and Natter!

We’re proud to be taking part in Volunteers’ Week 2025 – marking 41 years of saying thank you to all volunteers across the UK for everything they do for society.

Our recent Community Showcase exhibited work made by our members but was also made possible by the support of members volunteering their time to help invigilate the show, welcome guests, and help visitors engage with the works.

Huge thank you to Kenny, Warren and Laura who helped support our public programme.
