The SAFE Community of Practice aims to meet on termly basis to bring together systemic practitioners with an interest in educational provision for networking, training, resourcing and advocacy for inclusive, compassionate and holistic schools and colleges.

For this session we will be joined by Abbie VanMeter (co-developer of CosmoParenting and podcast host of Stories Lived. Stories Told) and Nicole Wells, a teacher and key contributor to the development of CosmoKidz. Following on from the March COP, Abbie and Nicole will share the ways in which the ideas of CMM are being used in schools via the CosmoKidz and CosmoTweenz resources. The session will invite discussion of a range of individual, class and whole school approaches and explore the factors that enable schools to develop relationship-based approaches. You can find out more about the various CMMi school resources at https://cosmoactivities.com/research/

We are delighted to announce the launch of the East of England Systemic Learning Hub. From October 2025, the Institute of Family Therapy and Systemic Social Action (IFT) will be collaborating with the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) to jointly deliver IFT's Foundation level and Intermediate level trainings.

IFT provides high-quality and socially conscious Family and Systemic Psychotherapy training, centring social context, social justice, and social action. CPFT has been offering in-house systemic training for many years across its multi-disciplinary services. This partnership is a natural synergy between two organisations that are committed to embedding systemic training within front line services.

To find out more about the Foundation level or Intermediate level trainings come join our open evenings on 7 April (Foundation) and 9 April (Intermediate)

Vicki Kitts will be hosting our next event on Thursday 24 October 2024.

Vicki won IFT's Barry Mason Award for Research in 2023 - come hear her talk about it.

Dive into our thought-provoking session “Invitation to Think About Class” for an enriching 1.5-hour discussion on the dynamics of social class in our society. This talk will offer a space to reflect on and dissect the nuances of working and middle-class experiences, their intersections with societal structures, and the implications for individual and collective identities. Ideal for those looking to deepen their understanding of class issues, this seminar promises to challenge perceptions and inspire meaningful conversations around class and social stratification.
