EFT (Emotional Freedom technique) is a modern application of ancient therapeutic knowledge. Chinese and Indian healing traditions are based on the flow of energy through the body. You may have heard of this life energy as Chi in Chinese and Prana in Sanskrit. A disruption or block in the

body's energy flow will result in emotional and physical pain. Like acupuncture and acupressure, EFT works through gently (no needles!) stimulating specific points on the skin, which unblocks and balances the body's energy. On these points, the electrical resistance of the skin is significantly lower than on the surrounding areas, hence they provide an access portal to the body's energy system. Every experience we have stimulates a part of the brain that will respond by producing chemicals, such as cortisol, adrenalin, dopamine and serotonin. The same is true for thoughts and memories as the brain cannot distinguish between real and imagined experiences. Imagine smelling this lemon and then biting right into it, chewing the sour flesh. Are you salivating?) These chemicals are responsible for us feeling anxiety, panic, fear, joy and happiness. While science has not been able yet to measure the subtle flow of energy through the body, it has been shown that levels of stress hormones in the blood, e.g., cortisol, are significantly lower after an EFT session. EFT balances the lack or excess of chemicals and hormones in your brain and body through gently stimulating energy flow while you hold the issue you want to work on in your mind. Very quickly, you will experience a release in the intensity of the emotion or physical pain. Once the problem is neutralised and doesn't hold any charge over your feelings, it is possible to anchor positive and desired emotions and feelings throughout your body and mind using the same principle.

„Wie findet man Ruhe und Klarheit, wenn die Welt nach einer Krebsdiagnose Kopf steht?“

Eine Krebsdiagnose bringt das Leben ins Wanken – plötzlich prasseln unzählige Informationen auf Betroffene und Angehörige ein und Entscheidungen müssen getroffen werden. In solchen Momenten ist es entscheidend, Werkzeuge an der Hand zu haben, die Halt geben.

EFT-Klopfakupressur ist für viele Menschen genau so ein Werkzeug.
EFT hilft, innere Ruhe zu finden, wenn alles zu viel wird.
EFT hilft, schwierige Behandlungen wie eine Chemotherapie annehmen zu können und mit Nebenwirkungen besser umzugehen.
EFT hilft nach der aktiven Behandlungsphase, wenn es darum geht, das neue „Normal“ zu finden.

Ich erlebe immer wieder, wie gut es Patient:innen tut, durch EFT wieder Vertrauen zu ihrem eigenen Körper und zu ihrer Kraft zu finden.

Dieses Thema liegt mir sehr am Herzen. Darum habe ich mich sehr gefreut, mit Sabine Rösner ein Interview führen zu dürfen, in dem wir ausführlich über die Möglichkeiten und Chancen von EFT bei Krebserkrankungen sprechen.
