I check my blood pressure regularly - usually more than once a week.
How often do you check yours?
There’s a history of heart disease in my family; mom died 5yrs ago at 75 from heart failure, her father before her died from the same at a similar age. When my mom died, I made sweeping changes to my diet to reduce my risks of developing heart disease, since I’m likely genetically predisposed to it, and went pretty much plant-based (though I still do eat fish). I’ve also been working hard on reducing my stress levels, over the past couple of years, and chasing that elusive work-life balance. I feel like I’m winning - blood pressure is healthiest it has ever been, I feel pretty great in terms of physical and mental health and wellbeing. Only thing I need too incorporate is a bit more exercise - it’s difficult around work, and the lengthy commutes to/from work, but getting there! 💪🤞🙏😊
