Dissolving isn’t as simple as people think — here’s what you need to know:

• A patch test is required before treatment
We wait at least 20 minutes to ensure it’s safe to proceed

• You may need more than one session
Especially if there’s a larger amount of filler, multiple areas or long-standing product

• There’s no true downtime
But aftercare is the same as any injectable treatment (avoid pressure, heat, alcohol, intense exercise initially)

• Puffiness after treatment is normal
The dissolving agent is diluted in saline, so it’s injected as a liquid — this can make the area look more swollen at first
This usually settles within 24–48 hours

👉 Important: what you see immediately after treatment is NOT your final result

And finally — prevention is always better than dissolving

Always:
• Choose an experienced, medical injector
• Ask what product is being used

Not all fillers are dissolvable — only hyaluronic acid fillers can be safely reversed

PSA: look at your injector’s face before you let them inject you 👀

It sounds simple, but it’s actually one of the biggest clues.

Your injector’s own aesthetic usually reflects the style of work they like and create.

If you’re someone who wants subtle, natural, understated results…
make sure that’s what they embody too.

Because the way they choose to treat themselves is often how they’ll guide you.

Personally, I’ll always lean towards:
