We met up this week to reconnect as we step into the new year, and it was a beautiful reminder of the power of conversation for connection.

Meaningful conversations build empathy and help ‘regulate’ our nervous systems - allowing us to find ‘flow’ more freely, both personally and professionally.

Our “Words of the Year” are Regulate (Nicky’s) and Flow (Sarah’s).

Two simple words - that offer powerful anchors for our year ahead. We’ve been fans of words of the year for a while now. They help guide our focus, our energy and our decisions towards what truly matters.

Which brings us to values…

As we begin 2026, we invite you to pause and do a little (non-judgemental) values check-in:

- Do you know what your values are? (If not we have a workshop around this!)
- On a scale of 1–10, how aligned do you feel your life is with your values right now?
- What small tweaks could help you live more in line with what matters most to you?

We know that living in alignment with our values supports balance, helps us find flow and significantly reduces the risk of overwhelm and burnout.

Here’s to a year of intentional choices, meaningful conversations and a little more flow for us all ✨

It’s World Mental Heath Day 💚

What are you doing today (and tomorrow) to support yourself and each other?

We’ve just delivered a Speaking of Mental Health webinar for one of our clients - opening up the conversation in the workplace, one that is still heavily stigmatised.

If you are struggling, one thing I encourage you to do is find a safe person that you trust and ask for help…

If you are one of those safe people, look out for those in your circles and create a safe space for them by listening non-judgementally 💚 Simply holding space for someone is so powerful.

We don’t need to be experts in mental health to be a mental health ambassador 💫

Earlier this month we sent another wonderful group of humans back to their workplaces as newly qualified Mental Health First Aiders.

And there was an extra celebration for us - as in amongst this group was our 500th MHFAider trained!

Nicky Morgan, our lead MHFA Instructor said this:

“These mixed cohorts fill my heart with joy - the representation of compassion, empathy, desire to learn and non-judgment was palpable. Your organisations are very lucky to count you as a colleague - and I am grateful for the opportunity to have learned alongside you. Here’s to keeping connected!”

Real vs. Rendered: Can You Spot the Difference?!

Unsurprisingly, the main theme that came out of our recent POINT3 Wellbeing | B Corp Certified Leadership Survey was the challenge that businesses face when it comes to adopting Artificial Intelligence effectively.

Leaders across sectors agreed that AI adoption is the most significant shift since the industrial revolution.

Adding that with this transformational shift comes a fresh set of leadership challenges - especially around:

- Thriving through change and uncertainty
- Reskilling teams at pace
- Using AI ethically and responsibly
- Navigating its impact on roles, morale, and culture

Does this resonate for you?

At POINT3, we’ve struggled with it too.

In the early days we were very reticent about using ChatGPT and how AI could benefit us. We both really enjoy writing and we felt that these tools would remove the personality and authenticity from our writing.

But when it came to analysing the results of our leadership survey (download link in the comments ;-)), we used AI to help summarise the data and draw out the key themes faster than we could manually.

We now recognise that AI is an incredible tool if used in the right way. For one, it helps so many people who don’t enjoy writing to communicate and have their voices heard.

All that said, AI is not a replacement for the human touch. Whilst we embrace it where we think it can help us, we believe that the people who will thrive in this new era are those who stay grounded in their human-ness, while embracing technology with curiosity and integrity.

✨ 2018 versus 2025 ✨

Seven years ago we left our exciting careers (after a combined 40 years!) in marketing and events to set up POINT3.

Reflecting today, we feel so proud and privileged to do what we do everyday.

And golly, how what we do has evolved in those 7 years!

We’ve ditched the lycra for more “professional” attire, as we’ve moved from physical + mental wellbeing trainers to trainers-coaches-facilitators in emotional intelligence.

Yes, the wellbeing of people is still fundamentally at the heart of what we do, but we now focus more on the “human skills” required to be a leader and manager of people in today’s workplace.

To mark our 7 years, here are 7 facts about POINT3.

1. Our daily mission when we set up the business in 2018 was to help people stress less and smile more. This remains true to this day.
2. We are a female founder-run and independently owned business. (We will always miss you Siôn!)
3. We became B Corp certified in January 2023.
4. Our values are to be wholehearted, brave and curious in our actions and interactions, backed by integrity and good intentions.
5. Our average recommendation score remains consistently 9 out of 10.
6. Our clients regularly come through word of mouth recommendations from our network. We are forever grateful and indebted to those we have worked with in the past and continue to work with today.
7. We were very nearly called POINT2 ;-) - a post for another time!

Seven years on, we don’t take anything for granted. We continue to live and work in a challenging world, so we are leaning into our values as we press on with our mission.
