Rebecca Davies Osteopathy

Rebecca Davies Osteopathy Rebecca Davies Health Ltd. Osteopathy and Cranial Osteopathy for all the family in Walthamstow E17 and Highams Park E4.

The purpose of Rebecca Davies Osteopathy is to see everyone enjoy optimal health and function and living life to their full potential aided by Osteopathy and health education. The roots of osteopathy lie in it's philosophy and this philosophy states that all living persons have a self-restoring, self-maintaining mechanism. This mechanism can be disturbed by what we call 'osteopathic lesions' - som

ething which blocks the self-regulation of the organism and there-by disturbs the underlying physiology. These 'blocks' can be caused by physical trauma, emotional disturbance, postural compensations. Osteopathy works by locating the blocks and helping the body to change the patterns associated with those blocks. If you want to understand better the how's and what's please get in touch.

OSTEOPATHY: Pregnancy - Postpartum - Cranial Osteopathy for Babies - Sports Injuries

Firstly I LOVE osteopathy - I think it’s an amazing tool for maximising your health and have benefitted from it myself over the years.

I have a postgraduate qualification in Osteopathy and Women’s Health an area I am very passionate about and treat women with fertility issues, during pregnancy and recovery from delivery. This last area is one I am particularly passionate about promoting as in this country I strongly believe we are not doing justice to many women who suffer in silence with issues such as incontinence and prolapse not realising their options (which are not just squeeze your pelvic floor more or surgery!). Osteopathy is a great great option and I would highly recommend an assessment if you are suffering with any issues since giving birth.

I also treat a lot of babies who have picked up strain patterns either from compression within the womb (common particularly with breech babies and twins) or from the birth itself. This is also an amazingly rewarding area to work in.

Finally I am a very active person myself - very into my barefoot running, dancing and high intensity strength training and love seeing other active persons who might be suffering from an injury or who are keen to maintain and improve their own performance.
