🎶Do your job & go home or if you are home switch off !

⭐️Save this for when you need the reminder

Your tendency to overwork through the evenings & weekend is keeping you exhausted.

You don’t mean to spend your whole evening or weekend checking emails or thinking about work… it just kind of happens.

The idea of fully shutting down feels impossible.

But here’s the truth:

You deserve to have a weekend that actually feels like a break.

It’s a hard pattern to break, but it’s 100% worth it.

Start with these 5 things you can do on Friday to help you log off, reset, and actually enjoy your weekend.

1️⃣ Brain dump the chaos
Scribble down everything in your head—tasks, random to-dos, stuff you didn’t get to. Get it out so it’s not buzzing in your brain all weekend.

2️⃣ Tidy up your space
Not deep-cleaning, just a quick “get the clutter outta here” so Monday-you don’t walk into a mess.

3️⃣Jot down Monday’s top 3
Pick your main priorities for next week. That way you’re not spinning on Sunday night trying to remember what’s coming.

4️⃣Actually shut it down
Close the laptop. Turn off notifications. Maybe even say out loud, “I’m done.” (Yes, it’s awkward. Yes, it helps.)

5️⃣Do a mini mood shift-
Take a walk, change your clothes, blast your favorite song—anything to shake off the work energy and slide into weekend mode.

It starts with the intention and then you gotta put some action behind that s**t!

What motivates you to look after your health?

When I really think about it, I believe the deeper reason is so we can be kinder to ourselves and to others.

Because when we feel good inside, it’s so much easier to show up with compassion, patience and understanding.

True motivation doesn’t come from comparison.

If you compare yourself in yoga, you probably compare yourself in life. Notice where you compare yourself and ask yourself it is helping you and your life today, or not. If not, then stop it!

🌻Energy and Motivation come from connection — slowing down, breathing, tuning in, and asking:
“What do I need today?”

That’s how you find steady, lasting progress — on and off the mat.

This simple stretch feels amazing after a long day/week! ✨

🌻This is great because instead of forcing your neck (which you never want to do), you gently lower the shoulder and let the stretch happen naturally. It’s safer, more active and often feels deeper.

Ideal if you’ve been working at a desk all day, driving, or staring at your phone for too long.🤣🤣🤣🌻🤣🥰

Here’s how to do it ⬇️
1️⃣ Interlace your fingers behind your back (or grab a towel/strap/scarf if shoulders are tight).
2️⃣ Move your hands over to one side of your waist.
3️⃣ Tilt your head toward that side and breathe deeply.
👉🏼 Hold for 5 slow breaths , then switch sides.

✔️ Releases neck and shoulder tension
✔️ Helps with tech neck
✔️ Calming reset you can do anytime

I’ve noticed many people struggle to bring their shoulder or head to the mat in thread the needle. Usually because of tight shoulders or a stiff thoracic spine (or both!).

If that’s you, try this gentle variation with two blocks or books or cushions. It helps you find the kind of release you’re actually meant to feel without forcing the stretch or straining your neck and upper back.

✨ Here’s how:
1️⃣ Place two blocks on the inside of your supporting hand - one roughly beside your wrist, one closer to your fingertips.
2️⃣ As you thread the opposite arm underneath, rest your upper arm on the lower block and your head on the higher one.
3️⃣ Keep the hips above the knees and breathe into the stretch.

👉🏼 Add a folded blanket on top of the blocks if the surface feels too firm.
👉🏼 You can also move dynamically, threading in and out with each breath.

✨ Perfect for anyone with tight shoulders, limited spinal rotation or a sensitive neck. If you want some rotator cuff tips let me know

☀️ Did you know the average person now spends over 90% of their time indoors?

Even just 20–30 minutes outside each day can boost your energy, improve your mood, support better sleep, and even benefit your long-term health.

As much as I love teaching yoga, breathwork, meditation, and relaxation, sometimes the biggest reset comes from simply stepping outside.

🌿 Can you build this into your day?
Walk instead of drive. Sit outside at lunch. Breathe in fresh air between meetings. Swim outside, bike 🚲 skip, run walk 🚶 at this time of year it’s a good reminder with darker nights to get it done early somehow maybe ditch the tube & walk a few stops if u r in london or a city

Your energy isn’t just built on movement it’s built on connection with the world around you.🌻
