Every child learns sounds differently, but here’s how to tell when speech patterns are part of normal growth and when they may need closer attention.

✅ What’s normal?
• Some sounds still tricky (like R, L, S)
• Big or new words sounding a bit “wobbly”
• Mixing up sounds while learning
• Funny or unexpected word swaps

⚠️ What’s not normal?
• Speech sounds unclear most days
• Words changing a lot over time
• Your child getting upset or avoiding talking
• Hard sounds never developing as they grow
