During lockdown, a patient came in looking really unwell. No travel, no obvious cause, middle of a pandemic. We ran bloods anyway.

The lab called. Malaria.

Her husband was convinced we'd got it wrong. The hospital doctor questioned it too. But the results were clear, and getting her there quickly mattered.

She recovered. Came back for a follow up, grateful and well.

This is why we don't just treat what's in front of us. We ask questions, we run the tests, we chase the answers, even when the answer seems unlikely. Especially then.

If something feels off, it usually is. Trust that feeling, and find a doctor who will too.

Somewhere along the way people started thinking you need to be properly ill before you've "earned" a trip to the doctor. You haven't. Checking in when things are good is how you keep them good. Prevention isn't overthinking. It's just common sense with better timing.

It's our 10th Birthday this week. These are the things we've learnt along the way...from you, honestly.

A lot of these didn't come from textbooks. They came from consultations, follow-up calls, and patients brave enough to tell us when something wasn't working.

Thank you for a decade of trust.

10 years. And this is the team that made it what it is.

A courier who's been with us since day one. A consultant psychiatrist whose patients keep coming back and telling him the same thing. A colleague hired on Christmas Day in the middle of a pandemic. Doctors, admin, specialists, all of us somehow still here.

What Darren said is the thing that sticks. Patients keep coming back. Again and again. That's not something you manufacture. That's something you earn, one appointment at a time, over ten years.

(A few of our team were too shy to join us on camera. You know who you are. We see you.)

To everyone who has been part of this, as a patient, a colleague, or a partner, thank you.

Here's to 10 more.

10 years. Same place. Same people. Same reason we do this.

Thank you, Canary Wharf. Here’s to the next 10!

The moment you make the noise getting up off the sofa and realise it’s the exact same noise your dad used to make.

Getting older is non-negotiable. But staying on top of it? That part’s up to us.

A quick check with your GP can catch things early, before small becomes complicated. No drama, no waiting…just answers.

So many people feel like they need to justify booking an appointment. Like their concern has to be "bad enough" to deserve a doctor's time. It doesn't work like that. Peace of mind is a perfectly good reason to get checked. That's what we're here for.

Not everything needs a clinic visit, but everything deserves proper attention. That's the difference between a telehealth appointment with your own GP and a five-minute call with someone who's never met you before. Whether you're between meetings, working from home, or travelling, you still get the same unhurried, thorough consultation. And if we think you need to come in, we'll say so. No guesswork, no fobbing off. Just the right care in the right way for whatever you need.

You shouldn't have to rank your health concerns in order of importance before walking into an appointment.

The "one issue per appointment" rule isn't something we believe in. If you've got three things on your mind, we want to hear all three. If something new comes up while we're talking, let's talk about it.

And it doesn't end when you leave the room. If your symptoms aren't improving, you can email us. Call us. We'll follow up because that's how care should actually work.

Your health doesn't come in neat, single-topic instalments. Neither should your appointments.

If you've ever left an appointment feeling like you weren't really heard, or talked yourself out of going back because last time felt like a waste of time, that's not a you problem. Everyone deserves a doctor who listens properly, asks the right questions, and doesn't make you feel like you're being difficult for wanting answers.

We look at a lot of results on screens in this clinic. Blood panels, scans, imaging, test results. But the bit that matters most is what comes after: sitting down with you, talking it through properly, and making a plan that actually fits your life. Health isn't just about what the numbers say. It's about understanding what they mean for you specifically, and having a doctor who takes the time to explain it. If you've been meaning to get a proper check for a while now, you probably already know it's time.

It's been a busy week for blood tests in clinic. Here's what patients have been coming in for and why.

Some people want to know where they stand with their cholesterol. No symptoms, no concerns necessarily, just a baseline so they've got a clear picture. Others have been dragging themselves through the weeks feeling wiped out, so we've been checking things like thyroid levels, vitamin D, B12, and iron to find out what's behind it.

We've also been running tests to work out whether an infection is bacterial or viral, because that changes what treatment actually makes sense rather than just guessing.

One that surprises people is blood group testing. A lot of patients have genuinely never been told what blood group they are and are just curious. It's a quick one and worth knowing.

Diabetes screening has been popular too, especially for patients with a family history. There's always a bit of a health reset in the new year and people want to start with proper information rather than good intentions alone.

If any of that sounds like something you've been meaning to sort out, these are all tests we can do in clinic with results back within a couple of days.
