3 questions to ask your doctor at your next appointment!

People leave the appointment thinking ‘I forgot to ask the main thing.’

If you’re ever unsure, anxious or worried about your own health, these 3 questions can change the entire conversation.

They help your doctor understand what you’re really worried about.

They help you leave with clarity instead of doubt.

And they remind everyone that healthcare should be a partnership.

There is no such thing as a silly question when it comes to your health. If something’s on your mind, it deserves to be heard.

Save this for your next appointment!

Or you could just ask an actual doctor 😅

Things we genuinely love at Same Day Doctor!!

Patients who tell us their real concern, not just the polite version.

The one who brings a list (we love a list).

And honestly? When someone comes back months later and says “I feel so much better.” That never gets old!!

Feeling rough and not sure if you should come in or just wait it out?

We get it. Nobody wants to make a fuss over nothing. But nobody wants to let something drag on for weeks when we could have sorted it sooner, either.

Here's a simple guide to help you decide.

The short version?

If your symptoms aren't shifting, if you're coughing up coloured mucus, if you're wheezy or short of breath, if something just doesn't feel right - come and see us.

Why sit and worry when we can resolve this?

Same-day appointments available. Check our profile for details.

You're feeling rough. But is it just a cold, or is it something more?

It's not always obvious. A cold is annoying but manageable. Flu knocks you flat. And COVID? It can look like either depending on the variant.

The good news is you don't have to guess. We have tests that check for COVID, Flu A, and Flu B all in one go. No more wondering. Just answers.

If you're not sure what you're dealing with, come in and we'll figure it out together. Same-day appointments available.

Why sit and wonder when we can find out?

Had a rough flu or virus a few weeks back? The infection's cleared but you still feel wiped out?
That's post-viral fatigue. And it's something we see a lot this time of year.

You're not imagining it. Your body has been through something and sometimes it needs more support to recover properly.

The good news is you don't have to just wait and hope it passes. There are things we can look at. Bloods, vitamin levels, what your body might be missing. And there are things we can do to help.

If you've been dragging yourself through the days since that bug hit, come in and let's take a look.

When was the last time you saw the same doctor twice?

The way things work now, you see whoever's available. Ten minutes. Someone who's never met you, reading your notes while you're sitting there. Then you're out the door.

That's not how it should be.

A GP who knows you remembers that one week of antibiotics never works for you. They remember what you mentioned six months ago that turned out to matter. They know your patterns, your history, your concerns.

That's what we do here.

Our patients see us. The same doctor. Some have been coming for years. They'll wait until their doctor is back rather than see someone else because that continuity matters to them.

And when something needs chasing, we chase it. Results, referrals, specialists. We're on the phone pushing for answers because you shouldn't be left waiting in a system that's forgotten about you.
We're not run by investors. We're not nine to five. We run the show and we go out of our way for our patients.

That's what a GP should be. Someone in your corner. Someone who takes the time. Someone who actually knows you.

If you've been looking for that, come and see us.
