Pelvic pain isn’t something you should have to “put up with.”

Too many women are told their pain is “just part of being a woman” — when in fact, it could be a sign of something more.

Here’s why pelvic pain should never be dismissed:
1️⃣ It’s not always “just period pain”
2️⃣ It impacts daily life and wellbeing
3️⃣ It may indicate conditions like endometriosis, fibroids, or infections
4️⃣ Early diagnosis can prevent complications
5️⃣ You deserve answers — and support

If pain is affecting your quality of life, trust that your concerns are valid — and help is available.

“I just thought it was normal to bleed that much.”
It’s something I hear from women far too often.

If you’re:
🔸 Doubling up on pads every hour
🔸 Feeling wiped out from your period
🔸 Struggling with bloating, pressure, or back pain
🔸 Avoiding intimacy because it’s too uncomfortable
🔸 Worrying about why you need to p*e again
…these are not things you should have to “just live with.”

You could be dealing with fibroids — benign growths in the uterus that are incredibly common, but often underdiagnosed.

Some women have no symptoms at all. Others deal with life-disrupting bleeding, pain, and even fertility complications.

The good news?
Fibroids are treatable — and there are options that don’t always involve surgery.

If your period is controlling your life, it’s time to take control back.

Ever wondered what happens after your cervical screening test?
Here’s what to expect:

🧪 The sample taken by your nurse or doctor is sent to the lab, where they test for high-risk HPV (human papillomavirus).

📋 If HPV is detected, the lab checks for any abnormal (precancerous) cell changes.
In most cases, these changes are minor and go away on their own.

🔬 If further review is needed, you’ll be referred to a colposcopy clinic, where a specialist takes a closer look — and may take a small biopsy if needed.

💡 Cervical screening is not just about finding cancer — it’s about preventing it early.

👩‍⚕️ Due for your test? Or want to discuss private cervical screening?

“Being told ‘your tests are normal’ doesn’t help when your symptoms don’t feel normal.”

Many women hear this and start doubting themselves.
They wonder if they’re overreacting, if the pain is “just stress,” or if they should simply learn to live with it.

But ongoing symptoms matter.

Persistent pelvic pain, heavy or irregular bleeding, painful periods, bloating, discomfort during s*x, or symptoms that disrupt your work, sleep, or relationships are not something you should have to tolerate — even when initial tests come back as normal.

Not all gynaecological conditions show up straight away.
Some require a more detailed assessment, specialist imaging, or simply time and the right questions to uncover what’s really going on.

Your experience is valid.
And getting clarity is not about being anxious — it’s about getting answers and feeling reassured.

👉 If something doesn’t feel right, you deserve to be listened to.
You’re welcome to book a consultation to discuss your symptoms in detail and explore the next steps together.

Irregular periods can feel confusing and even a little worrying.
For some, it’s about the fear of an underlying condition.
For others, it’s the uncertainty around fertility or simply not knowing when a period will arrive.

💬 Tell me… what concerns you most about irregular periods?
A. Underlying health conditions
B. Fertility impact
C. The unpredictability

Irregular cycles are common, but they’re also one of the most important signs your body uses to communicate that something may need attention.

If your cycle has changed, become unpredictable, or feels “not like you”, it’s worth getting it checked.

Early assessment can help diagnose causes such as hormonal imbalance, PCOS, thyroid issues, perimenopause, or stress-related changes.

Still unsure what cervical screening is or why it matters?
Here’s a quick explanation that could save a life.

The cervical screening programme was introduced in 1988 and invites women aged 25 to 64 for a simple test at a GP or hospital, where a small sample is taken from the cervix (neck of the womb).

It’s quick, important, and one of the most successful public health measures we have, preventing thousands of cases of cervical cancer each year.

💡 If you’re eligible and overdue, this is your reminder: book your screening.

It’s not just a test, it’s protection.

Periods aren’t always 28 days — and that’s okay. But if your cycles often feel unpredictable, here are signs that your period may be “irregular” and worth checking out:

✅ Bleeding that comes at unpredictable intervals or skips cycles
✅ Spotting between periods
✅ Periods that are much heavier or lighter than usual
✅ Periods that last longer than 7 days
✅ Missing more than 3 periods per year

These changes can be due to many factors — hormonal imbalance, conditions like Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS), thyroid issues, fibroids, or even stress.

You don’t have to suffer in silence. A proper evaluation — including medical history, hormonal tests, and ultrasound — can help identify the cause. I’m here to listen and help.

“I’ve been bleeding between periods and it’s starting to worry me.”

If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone — and it’s something you should never ignore.
Bleeding between periods (also called intermenstrual bleeding) can happen for several reasons, including:

✨ Hormonal imbalance
✨ Polyps or fibroids
✨ Cervical or vaginal infection
✨ Contraception-related changes
✨ Perimenopause
✨ Less commonly, precancerous or cancerous changes

While some causes are harmless, others need prompt assessment. The most important step is not to guess — but to get checked.

A simple examination, pelvic ultrasound, cervical screening, and swabs can usually identify the cause and guide you toward the right treatment.

📅 If you’re concerned about unexpected bleeding, I’m here to help.

Still wondering why your pelvic pain won’t go away?
It’s not always “just part of your cycle.”

Here are 3 common (but often overlooked) causes:
🔸 Endometriosis
🔸 Adenomyosis
🔸 Ovarian cysts

These conditions are treatable — but many women suffer in silence for years without a diagnosis.

If pelvic pain is affecting your daily life, work, or relationships, it’s time to get it checked.
