Today is World Kidney Day,
An international campaign that raises awareness about the importance of healthy kidneys for our health.

Kidney failure can severely impact someone's health and, in some extreme cases, be fatal. This is why it is so essential to keep kidneys healthy by practicing healthy habits, such as healthy eating, keeping active, maintaining a healthy weight, and regularly checking blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

We are heartbroken to share that Jean passed away last night. 🤍

Jean had been with us since the very beginning of our domiciliary care service, and she will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

It was a true privilege to support Jean over the years and to build such a wonderful relationship with her. Jean brought familiarity, warmth, and many shared moments that our team will always remember fondly.

We are also grateful for the trust and connection we shared with her daughter Nikki who has been part of that journey with us.

Our thoughts, love, and deepest condolences are with Nikki and all who knew and loved Jean at this incredibly difficult time.

Rest peacefully, Jean. You will never be forgotten. 🕊️

Last Saturday morning, our beautiful A passed away. She returned home from the hospital for end of life care. A was such a strong woman, even as her body was giving up, her mind kept fighting the inevitable. What a truly beautiful soul.

She was cared for with great love and dignity. A's NOK were absolutely outstanding, giving 100% throughout. Lisa , as A’s main carer, did an incredible job going above and beyond. Also, thanks Esther, for the amazing, caring you provided, although short much appreciated.
