Caz joins the Northcote Chiro team as our newest massage therapist. She offers tailored, intuitive massage treatments designed to relax, restore and release tension.

Originally from a background in office and facilities management, she discovered her passion for holistic therapy during lockdown and has since trained in over a dozen techniques, from Swedish and Sports Massage to Oncology, Pregnancy and Reiki.

She's a member of the FHT and twice winner of Global Health & Pharma’s Most Inclusive Massage & Wellbeing Practitioner award. We're absolutely delighted to have her with us at the practice.

Caz starts on 7th August and will be available on Monday’s from 1-8pm, Thursday’s from 2-8pm and Friday’s from 1:30-7:30pm.

Manual adjustments refer to a hands-on techniques that our chiropractors use to manipulate the spine or other joints in the body. The goal is to improve alignment, reduce pain, restore range of motion, and enhance overall physical function.

Some of the many benefits of manual adjustments include: pain relief (especially for back, neck, and joint pain), improved posture/alignment, enhanced joint mobility/flexibility and reduced muscle tension and inflammation.

World Breast-feeding week is Fri 1st - 7th of August and the theme for this year is "Invest in breastfeeding, invest in the future".

Under the banner of WHO’s ongoing Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures campaign, World Breastfeeding Week will shine a particular spotlight on the ongoing support women and babies need from the healthcare system through their breastfeeding journey.

This means ensuring every mother has access to the support and information she needs to breastfeed as long as she wishes to do so - by investing in skilled breastfeeding counselling, enforcing the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes, and creating environments—at home, in healthcare, and at work—that support and empower women.
