I understand and accept that the photographs may be combined with other images, text, and graphics and that I may not be named; data protection, rights of revocation, artistic design, or interpretation, safeguarding. I understand and accept that copyright in the images will be retained by BME VOLUNTEERS CIC Media. By attending this event, you are giving consent for BME VOLUNTEERS CIC to process your information in accordance with current data protection legislation. Your information may also be disclosed to external third parties for the purposes outlined above. House Keeping and Event Guidelines. Unfortunate, we do not have sufficient resources to employ a BSL Interpreter at every event. We encourage camera on, and microphone muted (unless speaking) to allow for lip reading and listening. We apologise in advance to all unable participate today because of the above.

1. Be kind and play nice - online security and online abuse (Safeguarding Lead)!
2. Respect your children, ma, pa, and others!
3. Wipe your feet when entering - “How do we do this online”- raise hand to speak, mute microphone!
4. Login early to highlight and fix Connection or Technical Issues – hearing, posting, participating.
5. Who to ask for help, support, links, handouts, more information before, during or after our events – Host, Event Support Workers (TSW) or Safeguarding Lead!
6. Ok really be kind and respectful!
7. Avoid bashing or picking on others.
8. Avoid Profanity – Children and young people attend, present, participate at our family events on and offline, please take this into consideration.
9. Avoid name calling – how does it make you feel?
10. Keep PERSONAL issues in context – Theme or Debate or Contrarian Perspective
11. Self-Awareness – conscious and unconscious

He also works in mental health, disability justice, and advocacy — partnering with SWIM, BME Volunteers CIC, and Black Voices Cornwall to support equity and inclusion.

Culture Access CIC is all about championing access, diversity, and inclusion — using an intersectional approach that truly welcomes all.

They’ll be showcasing their "Cooking with Support" Recipe Book — developed from a workshop filled with stories, tips, and accessible recipes. Whether you're cooking with the support of a Personal Assistant (PA), carer, friend, or family member, this guide makes safe and joyful cooking easier for everyone.
