As mileage builds and routines become more consistent, the body needs time to adapt to the extra load.

We mean small things, done regularly - moving often, recovering properly, and paying attention to how your body feels.

After the never ending January, February is finally here!

But the mornings are still dark, the rain is still very present and many of us are back to full on routines, working, training, commuting, parenting, trying to fit everything in.

A lot of patients are coming to us feeling tighter than usual, tired, and not moving as easily.

Nothing is necessarily wrong, it can just be your body reacting to less daylight, more sitting, and colder, damper weather.

A few small things can help:
🔹 Getting outside when you can (despite the rain!)
🔹 Warming up properly before exercise
🔹 Moving little and often during the day
🔹 Allowing yourself time to recover

Listen to your body, it will thank you for it.
