Some of the most inspirational and motivated people I know are my patients, Thea is no exception to the rule. It was through her sheer determination not to let her medical condition Ehlers Danlos get in the way, that she met her objective of walking down her wedding isle having been confined to a wheelchair for over 2 years! With the structural enhancement of some custom made functional knee braces to prevent knee hyperextension and a lot of help from Physiotherapy, we were able to help make this happen.

Whilst this is a unique case example, there are many people out there suffering from varying levels of hyper mobility whose lives may be improved with the help of orthoses alongside Physiotherapy.
